Shooter obtained this gun illegally as a dishonorable discharge. Sounds like the law didn't work.

How bout we just outlaw murder, that should work shouldn’t it? It would even cover murder by vehicle, knives, all the different ways people kill. We’ll just make murder illegal and that’ll work. Since we’re so certain that making things illegal prevents them from happening.

Would be willing to bet a bunch of those families had AR owning members. How bout we drop all "gun free zone" signs and pack everywhere...no more soft targets, let's see how the whackos deal with being shot at.
