A better one related to driving would have been to discuss the fact that traffic laws have completely morphed into simply being a solid method for getting around the 4th amendment.

Most traffic laws exist solely to generate revenue.

Those sovereign citizen videos always crack me up on yt.

They always say they aren't driving..they are traveling. A lot of them also don't have insurance, so they come up with some bullshite to explain why they don't need to have car insurance.

I've never seen a police officer or a judge ever take them seriously.

How many gun deaths are due to people not properly knowing how to operate a gun? There's certainly some number, but how significant is it vis a vis overall gun deaths.

Does this imply that the number of gun deaths would remain relatively the same even if passage of a written test was required? (Genuine question- trying to follow your reasoning)

That could be true. I have never tried to shoot a gun so I don’t know how difficult it is. Honestly, at this point, there are many more firearms than people in the USA. Pandora is out of the box, so to speak. No regulations would change or impact anything in a meaningful way for quite some time, which is why any gun control talking point is pointless.

driving is a right. Driving on public highways is different. I drove tractors and trucks all over the farm before I was 10 years old.

Fun fact: I drove farm equipment on public roads as well with no license as it was not required

So you still believe Trayvon martin was shot and killed by police.

Sad. If only you could learn to admit your mistakes and grow as an individual rather than continue to spew bullshite to the wall hoping something sticks.

You're not being honest with your argument, as usual. You are comparing a right under the U.S Constitution to a privilege.

You make arguments leaving out all the facts & ignore reasoning. It's an elementary approach to debating.

You can walk without a license moron. You can be a passenger in any vehicle with no license. Even you can’t be this stupid.

Constitution - between the right to bear arms and the right to arm bears.

J/K, it's implied in the founders refusal to explicitly sanction carriage-licensing.

You’re talking about people getting in a 4,000 pound missile. Of course they should be licensed. Credentials are a burden but at least mitigate the danger of a complete buffoon leaking fuel on a combustion engine next to my family. And holding drivers accountable is a welcome intrusion in getting us from A to B; it’s really not difficult to not break the law.

A fishing license, now that is some frickery.
