Only 47,000 people died of gun-related injuries in 2023, 60% of which were suicides. They weren't murdered. Try again.

Personally, I'm not OK with Joe fricking Biden behind the wheel of an automobile..

I’ve never been arrested or charged with a crime but I’ve been inside multiple jails and prisons.

Me either. The President of the United States, however, has been convicted of committing dozens of felonies. Apparently he finds it impossible to obey laws? Is that your position?

Lol, no need to talk about yourself. I pop off because you are so easy to get to. People who lack rational thought and are emotional basket cases are so much fun.

Is this supposed to be evidence of maturity and emotional regulation? Yikes.

Yeah, because you demonstrate that so well yourself. Yikes

You’re just a weak minded person. Nothing more, nothing less.

No. It’s a thread about a philosophical topic because I’m not at all interested in discussing California or immigrants or Twitter.

I have a drivers license.

No.. someone made a thread complaining about govt overreach concerning his pilot's license.. and right after, here's you with a thread about govt overreach concerning driver's licenses. Coincidence huh?

You should do some research on black markets. Milton Friedman came out hard against the war on the drugs in the 70s and 80s and predicted exactly where we would be today. War on drugs only benefits cartels and prison systems while destroying lives and costing taxpayers a couple trillion dollars while addiction gets worse every year. It sounds moral but in practice it is terrible.

JFC....

Another solid example of how to frick up your own thread.

I'm sorry I even gave this a chance yesterday and replied. My apologies to the board for violating my own rules.

She just wants to argue. I guess she thinks it’s cute. Unfortunately, it just solidifies her ignorant position in society.

Very few on this board have any idea what liberty means. They've been brainwashed to love the government. They can't understand why the government wouldn't throw someone in a cage for not getting permission to operate a piece of machinery. Now these folks would never personally throw someone in a cage for something so small but don't think anything about it when the gment does it. You shouldn't have a license and speed limits, seatbelts, duis, etc are all against natural law. Taking someones rights, damaging property, killing or hurting someone with a car should be and is illegal. Moving to fast can't be illegal to anyone that understands rights

You don't want to acknowledge the blatant hypocrisy. Everyone who is convicted of a crime is guilty and deserves to be punished.

EXCEPT Donald Trump.

Give me a break. At least own your own hypocrisy. Either the government can be trusted to prosecute crimes with integrity or it cannot. You cannot have it both ways.

Humans have the right to travel freely without permission from the state.

Mandating a drivers license operates on the assumption of incompetence.

There are a multitude of unnecessary administrative fees associated with obtaining and maintaining a license and private car. Some may argue this is inefficiency and waste, and they are certainly burdensome.

Something tells me you have no idea what UM is and how it impacts our insurance rates in this state.
