Pretty much. Boomers are going to bankrupt social security and Medicare and anything else they can get their greedy selfish hands on.

The Marxist “educators.”
Who allowed them to be influenced by the Marxist educators?
How far are yall gonna take the blame game for y'all's poor parenting? Also, if Marxist educators are to blame, why did Gen X lean back to Trump?

I'm a boomer and there is one thing we can't be blamed for: Movies.
Take the best movies of 1970-1990 when we were still going to theaters with our wives and kids. Compare them to the movies of modern times. You young people are paying for crap.

It is hard for me to really shite on boomers because they really didn't have close to the information we have had available to us when picking our leaders. People don't appreciate how much information we are witness too on a daily basis. It's hard to go from only knowing politics from Sunday shows or reading the paper to having it shoved down your throat 24/7 (for the most part). So much more was local and in front of your face up until a few decades ago.
Maybe it would have still gotten to this point but I'm not sure if things would have gotten this far if boomers had always had 24 hour news cycle and constant communication available with other regular citizens across the country.

"It's the Boomers fault!"--Millenials
"Its the Millenials fault!"--Boomers
While us Gen Xers roll our eyes and get shite done.

I think that's fair and if more of them would simply own that, it wouldn't be as big an issue. Boomers get so damn defensive though and refuse to admit they did a thing wrong.

I think alot of folks have just lost touch with reality. I had a conversation with an older family member the other day that said "if a man can keep his wife's spending in check, there's no reason he can't raise a family on $45,000/year in a nice home. 45 is a great salary!"
He was under the impression that the wife would be a sahm as well. I broke down the math of what that comes out to and how 45k for a family man is not a great income anymore and he sat there and argued with me and blamed entitlement mentality.
I do agree to a large degree with my father and your family member that entitlement plays a large part.
I do not recall growing up having everything. I remember eating at home every day during the week. The only time we would eat out would be on the weekends.
We never took lavish vacations. We went to the beach. My parents dont really drink so thats where a fortune has been saved quite honestly.
The familes that dont booze save hundreds of thousands in expense. This invested over the same lifetime, you can do the math.

Yea man!!! My parents have spent their entire lives working their asses off to support sending all of their money to the LGBTQ trans studies all over the world! We are in debt because of my parents!

Maybe what people say when they actually have wealth accumulated is different that what they say when they are just dreaming of having it.

Cmon man, 45k a year is a good income? Let's do that math.
45k a month is broken down to around 3k
Good luck finding a 2 bd apartment, much less a hosue for under 1,000.
Now you're at 2k.
Say you spend another $500-700 total on vehicle expenses (gas, insurance, note)
Now you're at $1,500
The avg health insurance premium for a family of 3 is $25,000/year or almost $2,100.
You're already in the red and you haven't paid food, utilities, clothing, savings, cell phone, school supplies, etc etc.

Firstly, how does the "current state of the country" revolve around how generations plan to transfer assets? And what is the difference be the first statement and the third statement?
The highest average debt belongs to Generation X followed by Millenials, then followed by Baby Boomers. Generation X is 43-58. I paid off my first morrtgage before 42, bought a house tha cost twice as much and paid that off at 57. I also put 3 kids (2 Millenials and 1 Gen-Z) through 15 years of Catholic school each and college that they didn't have to go into one penny of debt for. Did it all as a UPS driver and an insurance adjuster. Tell me more about how Boomers like me are the problem.

Yes, blame me for everything. Now park my Beamer and get my bags to the executive suite.
