It is my firm belief that these people don’t actually buy into any of this crap. They are merely trying to set themselves apart and grift the varied political identity groups as a means of gaining their vote.
The more they virtue signal, they believe, the more they will segregate themselves from their political rivals. They have no basis for their position, simply to paint themselves as the opposite of the others.

Congress is an equal to the courts. No legal authority to do this just as the founding fathers set the system up as 3 equal parts of government.
