She mentions Jim Crow (passed by democrats), American Indians (trail of tears done by a Democrat), Asians (interment camp done by a Democrat) and nobody notices the irony.

Many moons ago I was in a grocery store when this young attractive mom and her son whom I'm guessing was probably, 5 or 6 years old, rounded an aisle where there was a Indian who was wearing turbine. The young boy so excited when he spotted this man that he blurted out loudly while pointing at the turbine wearing man, "LOOK MOM, IT'S A MAGICIAN".
The mom's eyes got big and she quickly scurried off to another aisle.
I moved on to another aisle also because I was laughing. It made sense to me.

That may or may not be true.
As noted, Muslims and Sikhs wear them too.
In my experience, Sikhs are fairly conservative.
Hindus, not so much.
