It’s been that way too. We fish out of OBA and it’s been all Trump...from little skiffs to $9M Vikings.
Around the pass, you can literally see more boats with Trump and American flags than boats that don’t, all day long everyday.

This has always been the case. Boat people are like hunters, the majority are republican. The inner cities are what’s tearing down this country.

Lots of overlap in the Venn diagram between boat owners in Northwest Florida and Trump supporters—mostly old white men. Don’t get too excited—hardly representative of the general electorate, where Trump trails by double digits.

I was out at Crab Island yesterday, and I’d say in excess of 75% of the boats had Trump flags.
I did see one BLM flag. On one boat of 6 lashed together. Also saw a rental go by where a boater or two were wearing BLM T-shirt’s. Not coincidentally also hear the n-word about 200 times (no exaggeration or hyperbole) in the few minutes that it took for them to drift by...not steering or even aware of the boats and swimmers around them, but prop turning...banged into three other boats that I saw. Just did not care.
I have a friend that runs a rental business in the harbor. He said this year has been the worst ever for damage. Numerous renters are using pre paid debit cards, taking the boat, canceling the card minutes later, trashing the boat to include slashing the seats, and then ditching the boat either adrift or on a random bank. Can’t refuse to rent to them because you know. Peaceful and oppressed for sure...
But the VAST majority in the area very pro Trump and overtly so.
