The very first thing a tyrannical government does when it wants to remove something is to make a list. Look what the Nazis did to the Jews. At first it was OK to be Jewish. You just had to put your name on a list and wear a star to signify you are Jewish.

Now imagine if those Jewish people all had AR-15s. WW2 would have looked a little different.

Let's say hypothetically the federal gov't bans all high capacity semi-autos. Would you pack up and leave the country? What if it's an identical ban to the one from 94-04?

That is just ignorant

They'd ban the manufacturing of those weapons and not the ownership. I already own enough of them that I don't have to worry about needing more of them unless I want more of them.

Tripped him up with saying ranch rifle. Why not just say mini-14? I have a thumb buster but most of my gun toting friends don't know what the hell that is.
