I’d go even further and propose a gun ownership list
The very first thing a tyrannical government does when it wants to remove something is to make a list. Look what the Nazis did to the Jews. At first it was OK to be Jewish. You just had to put your name on a list and wear a star to signify you are Jewish.

Look how that turned out.

Now imagine if those Jewish people all had AR-15s. WW2 would have looked a little different.

Well, when you have idiots like Covington here spouting the crap you did but being utterly serious about it, you really should end your post with a /s or something

This is true, perhaps you should look at moving to a nation that has the same views as you on guns...

That's probably true. There's absolutely no way the Founding Fathers could have imagined weapons would advance over time...

Let's say hypothetically the federal gov't bans all high capacity semi-autos. Would you pack up and leave the country? What if it's an identical ban to the one from 94-04?

You're talking to the dude who thinks ARs should be banned but a Mini-14 is perfectly fine to own.

Yeah, ole boy should just give up after that ignorant display.

Dude set him up wonderfully

So they ban high capacity mags. You know what happens? Belt fed guns become much more popular.

Did I say magazines? High capacity does not just cover 30 round mags.

You got me...pictures of dead kids at school errr, mall errr, concert.

Nope dead soldiers on a battle field in the midst of war.

I must have missed the memo wherein schools are now war zones.

Thanks for heads up

That is just ignorant

They'd ban the manufacturing of those weapons and not the ownership. I already own enough of them that I don't have to worry about needing more of them unless I want more of them.

So baw, can you tell me why you want ARs banned but find a Mini-14 acceptable to own?

I'm genuinely curious.

Tripped him up with saying ranch rifle. Why not just say mini-14? I have a thumb buster but most of my gun toting friends don't know what the hell that is.

Yes. I tripped him up by calling the Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle a ranch rifle, after I provided a picture of it for him to make his judgment.
