Why do you keep parroting this bullshite that his pardon is somehow going to be invalidated? It will not be. This has been explained to you previously and you still parrot the same bullshite.

Trump has publicly stated that he believes any pardons signed by former President Joe Biden using an autopen are "null, void, and of no further force or effect." He argues that these actions lack legal validity because they were not signed by Biden in person.

This does not matter and I know I have explained this to you before.

And Trump can say that, but the law isn't going to agree with him. It's just that simple.

At least Mengele actually did science. Crappy, inhumane science, but better than fauchi.

He'll never be arrested. Everything they want to know, they already know. This testimony won't provide law enforcement or the DOJ itself with any new revelations.

Republicans talking about it and rallying support for his arrest... won't make him get arrested. If anything, it seems disingenuous, because politicians know they've no power in that regard, and are only utilizing it as a means to get future votes and donations.

If I'm wrong, then I'll be happy as hell to admit to being wrong. Because the government elites should be held to the same standards that we peasants are held to. If we lie under oath in a very high profile situation, we'd be arrested and charged. It wouldn't be overlooked.

This is one hell if an exaggeration. The NAZIs killed approximately 15 million innocent Poles, Jews, and Gypsies.

Tony Faucis’ actions led to the deaths, worldwide, of only 7 million.

Not so fast my friend, the total number of the death camps is "estimated" at 6 million, and Mengele was not responsible for all of those. Even if he was, and the number was as high as 6 million, that is still less than the 7 million Fauci is responsible for.

Therefore Fauci is indeed comparable to Mengele.

This whole testimony is a waste of time.

Any state AG would be well within their wheelhouse to prosecute him because citizens died in every state. But they wont.

Because if they did, every country in the world would be screaming for reparations from the US govt.

I’ll concede your point and recognize that Mengele is done killing and Fauci is still at it. Greetings from a fellow Winter Quarter Kicklighter History class student sitting behind Doug’s blonde daughter.

He was pardoned by Biden. Why get all cued up in a frenzy, when he will probably no show and if he does show, plead the fifth?

The DOJ could have raided him at dawn years ago if they really want justice. What about scarf lady. Is she not in Leavenworth either?

If Anthony Fauci pleads the Fifth during his upcoming congressional testimony, the practical and legal effects are limited—especially due to his preemptive pardon from President Biden in January 2025—and it would likely trigger stronger political backlash rather than immediate legal penalties.

newsweek.com

Upcoming ContextFauci is scheduled to testify under subpoena on July 29, 2026, before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (a public hearing at 8:30 AM in Dirksen SD-342, expected to be livestreamed). The focus includes COVID-19 origins, gain-of-function research funding, record destruction/alleged FOIA evasion, and related issues raised by Sen. Rand Paul and others.

hsgac.senate.gov

Impact of the Pardon on Pleading the Fifth

Biden’s broad preemptive pardon covers federal offenses tied to Fauci’s NIAID/COVID-related duties from roughly 2014 to January 2025. Supreme Court precedent (e.g., Brown v. Walker) generally holds that a pardon removes the realistic threat of federal prosecution for covered acts.

@grok

This largely eliminates his ability to validly invoke the Fifth for questions on those matters, as there is no genuine risk of self-incrimination for pardoned federal crimes. He can still be compelled to testify and must answer truthfully (new lies = perjury, which is unprotected).

@grok

Exceptions: He could potentially invoke it for state-level crimes (pardons are federal only), non-covered conduct, or if questions risk incrimination beyond the pardon’s scope. But committees and courts would likely challenge broad invocations.

washingtonexaminer.com

What Happens if He Tries to Plead the Fifth Anyway?Congressional hearings differ from criminal trials:

Witnesses can generally assert the Fifth (it applies to compelled testimony that could incriminate them).

mayerbrown.com

The committee can:

Accept it and move on (most common; no automatic penalty).

Challenge the invocation (especially post-pardon) and push for answers.

Grant use immunity (via court order under 18 U.S.C. §§ 6001–6005), forcing testimony while preventing use of it (or derived evidence) against him in prosecution—except for perjury.

law.stackexchange.com

Contempt options if he refuses after a valid override: The committee/Senate could vote on contempt of Congress (fines, referral for prosecution, or rarely inherent contempt with detention until compliance). In practice, referrals often go nowhere without DOJ action.

thehill.com

Public perception would be negative for Fauci—invoking the Fifth often fuels accusations of evasion, even if legally protected in other contexts. Past examples (e.g., various high-profile witnesses) show it leads to media scrutiny and political attacks but rarely jail time.

firstpost.com

Likely "Next" Steps

Testimony proceeds (he must appear). Expect tough questioning from Republicans on lab-leak theory, research funding, emails/records, and the pardon itself.

If he pleads the Fifth selectively or broadly, it could lead to:

Contempt proceedings (more symbolic than punitive).

Calls for further probes, including state-level or special counsel reviews of the pardon’s validity/scope.

marshall.senate.gov

Heightened public/political pressure, but no new federal criminal risk on pardoned matters.

Broader fallout: Continued congressional oversight, potential civil suits, or reputational damage. No blanket immunity from all consequences.

In short, pleading the Fifth would be risky and probably ineffective for covered topics due to the pardon. He’d be expected (and largely compelled) to answer under oath, with perjury as the main new risk. The hearing is the immediate next event—watch for live coverage around July 29. Outcomes depend heavily on how the committee handles
