It's either a brain dead guy who has a sense of delegation and staff who supports him, or a petulant teenager who trusts no one and who no one trusts. They are both bad options, but one is worse than the other.

All because men of integrity, the "good men", supposed stalwarts of Liberty tasked to defend us, did nothing.

If hell is the absence of God, I'd wager we are dang near close to it.

Albeit a massive spiritual awakening, on a global scale, hell will descend upon the Earth in short order.

Anyone catch the Alabama b-ball score yesterday?

Unfortunately America has descended into the realm of the decadent. I really am concerned for the survival of this country.

So we were morally better back when we institutionally supported slavery/Jim Crow?

How about when we were doing things like giving Native Americans blankets intentionally infected with smallpox (it didn't work, and the small pox that ravaged the NA population came from the Spanish and Portugese, but not for our lack of trying)?

I understand what you're saying.

But American culture has always needed Christ about as badly as it does right now. It hasn't ever really been an unusually moral culture. In that respect I agree with Cubbies. I disagree with her in that I also don't think it's ever been unusually immoral either. It's about average.

Lex is the thickest 'genius' I've ever seen. He truly is a programmed persona with zero common sense or reasoning.

Annie is discussing her new book about nuclear war. Worth the time. Unbelievable how many "holes" are in our nuclear war strategy. She discusses close calls and many details that are mind boggling. Frightening . fricking insane that we are poking Russia rather than negotiating peace.

For those of you who have Netflix go watch the series called Turning Point ....The Bomb and the Cold War. You'll get chills knowing how close the USA and the former Soviet Union came to a complete nuclear exchange, all by human error and equipment failures on both sides.

The American experiment is unique in history. We didn't arrive at this experiment in self-government without much soul searching? In fact, we fought a Civil War in order to redress a great wrong - slavery. I include in my list of great Americans Frederick Douglas and Martin Luther King. Today I would lift up Dr.Ben Carson and Condoleezza Rice as great Americans as well. Amazing minds.

The evil that is happening now challenges the very ascertion of life itself - how does life come into existence, and who, how, or what decides if a life can or cannot, or even has a right to exist. This is a mindset that defies logic. It is contrary to the laws of nature and is the very definition of evil. Ultimately allowed to continue this absurdity, without challenge, will destroy us all.

Agree?

How should we negotiate peace? What would create peace in this region?

Yep, you're safe as long as you can get under a small desk, which will leave a of of Americans defenseless as they are too fat to meet that criteria.

Been to Hiroshima, and did a junior high diorama on people burning alive and running to the river naked for relief.

On the plus side, Little Boy only created 15,000 tons of TNT explosive yield. Only 1.38% of the uranium was fissioned! Now, with greater yields and efficacy, we won't be alive to deal with the aftermath.

I have my ideas, but that's what negotiations are about. I know this, the longer it goes, the least favorable terms will be for Ukraine. The only chance of Ukraine "winning" is if the US and NATO get involved.... Then we're looking at nuclear war.
