True, but an inescapable conclusion today.

JBE?

JIndal?

Blanco but her husband "Coach" made all the connections and money behind the scenes. When he was a coach at USL he was the recruiter well known in NOLA.high schools.

Mike Foster had a lot of Cajun support. If Blanco hadn't shite the bed during Katrina, who knows. I thought a lot of Jindal, he played video games at our house when he was a teen, but the night he did the response to the SOTU speech, he was awful. Elmer Fudd wrote his speech.

t's pretty bold and un-American for that midget to order an investigation into private citizens who served on the grand jury fulfilling their civic duty.

It's pretty bold and un-American for a grand jury to decide on its own to investigate and bring an indictment and to indict the state AG for sending letters.

So, you know, what go around come around kid.

She wasn’t indicted for her opinion. It was her ham fisted attempt at intimidation, apparently…

So issuing an unfavorable opinion is intimidation? You’re as big a dumbfrick as the people of NOLA are.

Exactly. Since she hasn’t seen a judge yet, how does she have a bond set? Shitty reporting

Sounds like they kicked all the media out, so details were hard to come by

Loyola law professor Dane Ciolino told WWL Louisiana that he believes Murrill's indictment is "a theater of the absurd," as the Louisiana Supreme Court had previously ruled in favor of her stance on the clerk of court consolidation.

"Whatever you think of Liz Murrill, the notion that she would be indicted for essentially telling public officials that they were not doing something lawfully by appointing a clerk of court is astonishing," Ciolino said.

Ciolino suggested that politics may have influenced the indictment, pointing out that DA Williams' office notably recused itself from the case.
