Even if a trillion jobs were created bc of Trump's tariffs... It doesn't change the fact that some people are losing their jobs because of tariffs.
So then your position is that if there is any loss, regardless of net gain, then something must be bad and should not be done?

So your position that any policy that results in a NET INCREASE in employment is not worth doing because there are still some people that are on losing end?

No... My position is people are losing their jobs bc of Trump tariffs.
Like it or not it is the absolute truth.... Regardless if someone else in a different state obtained a job.

he created over 1 million jobs his first 6 months. that was a year ago.
you also deny the black and hispanic unemployment figures?
did you deny the economic impacts JFK and RR had with income tax cuts and regulation rollbacks? we are just getting started here.

Here's what i want you to do. Go tell the people who lost their jobs because of Trump's tariffs not to worry because people in another state obtained a job.
I'm sure that'll quell their anger!

You didn’t take a position. Stating a fact is not taking a position.

How does this compare with the tens of thousands of jobs lost in Missouri over the last 2 decades because Chinese tariffs hurt our farming industry? Just wondering.

Lol! For years, Trump and his supporters said the "real" unemployment rate was really 44%...now all of a sudden the "real" unemployment rate is 3.9...right?
This why Trump says he loves his poorly educated supporters. He can tell you anything and you'll blindly believe it.

Ok. Let's hypothetical.
Let's say that Trump tariffs lead to EVERY adult American being employed except for 1 person that loses their job.
There is a net gain of millions of jobs but ONE person loses their job.
Your STATEMENT would still be true. Someone lost their job because of Tariffs.
However, is it your POSITION that this is bad?
(I'm not sure why I am bothering with an obvious troll but here we are)

No one is disputing that some people will lose their jobs. The issue is that you don’t care that there is a net positive in job creation.

He hired a million people? Or are you saying the economy added 1M jobs and he is responsible for it? The economy added 10M jobs in obama's last 4 years. Did he create those jobs? Or is it just trump that created jobs?

No anybody who was planning to cut staff can blame it on tariffs and morons will believe it.
If his job numbers were “bad” cnn would mention them daily.
The left has a complete rift with reality

I don't think anyone is disputing that some jobs are being lost. The focus is that we are gaining more than we lose.
If you're pointing it out then you must think it's a problem. If it's a problem, then what's your recommendation for a solution?

Absolute BULL shite...that is now your supposed original intent, only after you got your entire insinuated position completed annihilated with a simple, logical rebuttal.
Let me give you a little advice, when that happens to you, don't come back to the thread.

“We don’t want a trade war,” said Gary Wheeler, executive director of the Missouri Soybean Association. “That’s the worst-case scenario for us and for China.”
but we will win the trade war...it's part of negotiating
Trump will not flinch...
so we got this
