Of course. What other conclusion could you possibly draw. People working polls are clearly part of a globalist plot.

It goes both ways, I get mean mugged by white people a lot. it is what it is.

And at night during a full moon, well…you know.

My vote was done early with a mail in ballot

Very nice girls here in Mike Johnson's neighborhood. But they still won't take my Starbucks Gold Card as I.D.

Oh. I forgot that you are stupid. I did vote with a mail in ballot. But the post office never touched that mail in ballot once it was completed.
Mind blown, right? And you thought you had something.
Poor ole PT. Swing and a miss.
And your obsession is never ending. Scanning furiously through my post history.

There is a huge misconception of what poll workers are throughout this thread.
It's a paid position, not 100% volunteer. And you have to apply for the position and consent to a background check, then each polling location has a supervisor that picks their crews out of a database of available candidates that have passed screening.
Some of these supervisors have been doing it for years, even decades, and have their favorite crews set every 2 years. In my experience, the type that makes it to supervisor of a polling location is the exact opposite of what's depicted in this thread. They're usually the farthest thing from a "liberal" and are hard workers and go getters in the other endeavors of their lives. And they're the ones that personally get to choose who staffs their polling location.
That could just be my experience in the south, in mostly smaller towns and cities. But the generalities and straight up falsehoods a lot of people believe about poll workers is alarming

No no. They are all evil witches.

I didn’t experience any of that at my polling location. Everyone was very helpful.

There is no background check in Texas, you just have to be a registered voter in your county.
I've been an Election Clerk and Election Judge. The main reason I did it was because I had a hard time saying "No" to the nice old lady in my neighborhood who used to do it, and asked me take over. I'd known her and her husband my whole life.
The people who do it, at least on Election Day, are mostly people who live in the neighborhood. We do it because we got asked by people we knew, or volunteered, or were elected as Precinct Chairs and then nominated by our parties to serve as Election Judges.
Some are retired, some request time off from work to provide a public service.
I've never seen or experienced anything like what the OP described, but he's a pretty terrible troll on the SEC Rant and is bringing his terrible trolling to the Politics Board now.
If you think your local polling location could use some help, speak to the Election Judge there, or contact your local elections administrator to learn about serving. There is always a need for competent professionals willing to put in the time and work to help make elections run smoothly and legally.
ETA: should add that we do have training, which is also paid.
In Harris County (Houston) elections, Election Day judges are responsible for setting up all the equipment, and making sure that there is an adequate number of clerks scheduled. Then breaking down the equipment and taking the ballots to a central count location. It's a loooooonnng day when you're short-staffed.

quote:
Feel free to explain how globalism entered your head in the first place
Socialism and globalism are intrinsically linked. It's all about consolidating power into the government, with the socialist/communist (same thing) governments then combining into a one world government (think the EU, but worse). Getting to that goal requires people who believe the government has their best interests at heart. It is a long, slow, deliberate process. The easiest people to convert are those who believe they are "gaming" the system by living 100% off the government, when the reality is they're simply selling out their descendents.
The "work requirements" of social programs require people to be seeking gainful employment. Most of the time that involves simply going to the unemployment office and then taking interviews if those become available. Usually, this can be achieved by simply being unhireable. It's pretty easy to bomb interviews if you have no shame, and you must have no shame to live completely off the government. However, temporary gov jobs like poll work fill that work requirement while ensuring the individual people aren't earning "too much" to be removed from their primary source of income via other government programs.
People who live solely off government theft from others advance the push of globalism into our society. This is simply one example if how that is achieved.
I'm sorry you don't know how things work
ETA: autocorrect turned the word "intrinsically" into the word "intentionally."
