I’d take Alberta (population 4,368,370), Saskatchewan (population 1,231,043), and Manitoba (population 1,484,135) as states.
And Nunavut (population was 35,944) the Northwest Territories (population of 41,070), Yukon (population of 47,126) as territories.

I sold a company based in Calgary a few years ago so I was up there a lot for sure visits.
It’s an amazing area with cool people. I loved the amounts of ice rinks in each neighborhood. I’d live there if it were the 51st state.

Can concur, the people Ive worked with from Calgary are no different than US westerners (not the coast), just with the Canadian accent
