I am firm in my belief that anytime there is a case like this, a grand jury should automatically be convened, presented with the evidence, and then decide if there is enough to proceed to a criminal trial. Self-defense or no self-defense, these men should have had their incident presented before a grand jury back in February.

Given that there 51 different sets of laws under 51 jurisdictions, 327 million people and over 500,000 law enforcement officers in this country, it is possible for people to judge the cases on their individual merits without making sweeping generalizations about the entire country.

Correct. GBI did it. Up until yesterday (I think), GBI had only been asked to investigate the leak of the video. Not the crime.
How tone deaf are you when you’re asking the state police to investigate the leaking of this video and not the crime? I’m guessing there’s few triple digit IQs represented in that office.

Ahmaud Arbery is naive. This is not a free country. He should not be running in neighborhoods he is not welcome in. Just plain dumb thinking it was ok for him to run past expensive houses without being profiled. He should be running in places where there are other runners(like a park/trail). Or stick to the tread. That said, he does not deserve to be dead.
These two rednecks are equally naive. This isn't 1960. Can't shoot AA for shits and giggles. Stop taking the law into your hands. You are not a current cop. Assume the best in people instead of the worst. Arbery is innocent until proven guilty.

Because the media narrative is that blacks are the victims and whites are the oppressors. Incidents that fit that narrative get a ton of attention and are pushed to the forefront. Protecting the narrative is far more important than any semblance of justice to some people.
I'd love to see a world where all murders are treated as equally serious as each other, no matter the color of the people involved on either side.

Completely agree. The incidence rate of white on black murder is so low that it’s rarity when it happens, and therefore is news. But the race baiters will scream loudly EVERY time.

Blacks are killed by other blacks over 90% of the time. Blacks kill twice as many whites as whites kill blacks. We white folk are tired too. Tired of being mugged and killed by black folk. Tired of our taxes paying for black folk lifestyles. I could go on for days, but I digress.
