The people who have said they won't vote for the other if their guy isn't the nominee are Trump supporters. They call us DeSantis supporters cucks and tell us to shut the frick up and get in line if Trump is the nominee. Something we did in 2016 and 2020. But if DeSantis is the nominee, plenty of Trump supporters will take their ball and go home, showing they're not team players.

The truth has been revealed about DeSantis by his 10 years of Elected office where he has accomplished more for conservatives than any person in the country. He's an incredibly consistent conservative.
BTW, he actually voted AGAINST Paul Ryan for Speaker when few people did. He was a vocal supporter of Trump against the Russia hoax when it was very early and everyone was after him. He's the one out there issuing statements against the prosecutions and has a plan for reforming the DOJ and Deep State. Yet you guys want him to be the enemy.
It's wrong but Trump is likely going to jail or at least being convicted of a crime. When that happens his small chance of winning becomes no chance. So you want to get rid of the only guy capable of winning, pardoning him, and holding the Deep State accountable. It's a brilliant strategy.

How pathetic must you be as a repeat candidate to lose spectacularly (taking the House/Senate with you) to a walking corpse. And now you only poll good enough to get 1/2 of the people who voted for you last time.

I’m voting for the GOP candidate no matter who it is: Trump or DeSantis.

This group of people on here saying that are legitimately stupid people. They are so blinded by their passion and worship of Trump that they can't think straight enough to even realize the facts and logic of what you posted. That's definitely true but a lot of DeSantis supporters like myself have repeatedly stated that we'll happily vote for Trump if he's the nominee. The diehards just flat out lie and say "all the ronbot neverTrumps said they'll never vote for Trump!". I think it's pretty easy to tell who are actual conservative DeSantis supporters and who are the Dem trolls, but as with that poll last week showing the huge silent support of him on this board it's easier for them to just say it's all Dems

That's what I've posted before. I'd rather have DeSantis or Trump, but people are insane to not vote against the Democrats because "durrr he's an establishment guy". I'd vote for frickin Jeb Bush or John Kasich before I'd sit on my arse election day and help the democrats. I’d maybe back it down a few notches considering the fact you’re talking about a single person in the OP. Overgeneralization and stereotyping is as much a threat of harm to the overall cause as is what you’re describing in your post. I realize there hasn’t been a mind changed here since the early days of ‘Nam, specifically by one poster of another, but I’d propose that once everything were to shake out, once the dust settled, at the end of the day - there are very similar numbers within both sides who share the same opinions and approaches, i.e. Desantis or die and Trump or die. Near samesies. That’s been my personal observation.
