Ya… seems like there should be a few people suspended with her if it’s all per the article.
She didn’t get the video behind her without approval and if anyone really cared they would have cut it off air during the speech.
Only thing I can guess is that she submitted one segment and broadcast something different.

She actually knew and worked for Charlie Kirk.
I want to be outraged but honestly, I can't be. Because this is about to be the single greatest thing that could have ever happened to this woman in her career.
She's going to win any suit she considers filing, but it won't get to that because the station and probably it's parent-affiliated ABC bosses are about to fall all over themselves in a way to mitigate damage. I'm almost certain that it's already turned into some kind of massive internal damage control situation and her attorneys are likely already fielding settlement talks. That's how certain I am that this is about to turn into an absolute windfall for her.
The only better thing that can happen for all of us on the sidelines watching is if she doesn't settle quickly and drags this fricking sledgehammer of destruction through ABC's arse.

Illinois outside of Chicago is as red as Alabama. Springfield is in the middle of the state about halfway between Chicago and St Louis, MO. I would not classify Springfield as progressive.

What the frick man. That was a beautiful, genuine tribute to a guy she worked for that should be an uplifting message for anyone. It wasn’t partisan at all.

If she editorialized without her boss' permission it's a problem. She should have warned the station director / news director that she would be doing it.....or because it's Charlie Kirk, all the rules go out the window?
