Minneapolis schools closed. Maple Grove is a suburb to the north.

Maybe the other 90% of students could actually learn something today.

Was the protest successful or is ICE still operating?

Using children in a political context is pretty shameful

This is something I'd like to know as well.

Are the results of all these protests what protesters are stiving towards? What exactly are they accomplishing?

If I was a student there I'd really enjoy catching a nap while everyone froze their butts off outside.

I say this every time there is a school “walkout”. Most of those kids don’t give a shite about why they are walking out. They just wasn’t to leave class.

some do, I’m sure but the majority of them are just looking for a reason to get out of class.

They've learned nothing from history, if so. The "flower children" and hippies ultimately ended up universally hated when it was all said and done. Ask any Vietnam veteran.

That actually only happened because Mondale was FROM Minnesota. Still a valid point on the level of insanity there.

Not exactly. Minnesota also did not go for Reagan in 1980. It is the only state to not go for Reagan in BOTH of his elections.
