quote:100% because it’s now the only way to clean up the mess and re-establish the United States as a decently fair place to live. And I’m referring to the left’s definition of armed state violence. So just ICE existing and doing their jobs.
What is happening is that the lefts behavior over the past ten years has made us average joe conservatives on the right more likely to support armed state violence.
quote:This is where we split from power and similar folks. They don’t think it’s that big a deal. I’d give my life to help fix these things while they’re somewhere around “ew why do you even care if it doesn’t direct affect you.”
If the alternative is communism, infinite Somalians getting rich off of our taxes, etc etc, then I will choose a right-wing fascism over that.
That’s the crux of the issue for people not on the far left. The far left is lost.

Tell me how many communist countries allow more than one political party.
Why? Who is advocating for communism? No one is more obsessed with communism than poliboard posters who claim to be Republicans.

How can this be determined? How can we even know how many are here if they are undocumented?

Sort of like the right wing is doing, minus the assassinations.

Yeah I probably would have gotten fewer downvotes if I put her pic in the op

We’ll probably find out before the next presidential election.

Even though you reasonably know that not every person in the country without permission is being “taken care of”?
Now, given some cooperation from the left, I would be very inclined to stop my deporting as we approached the people you speak of. We could absolutely sit down and discuss a deal here.
quote:Stop fricking with me. I explained to you why I wanted them removed already.
You want them removed to own the libs?

Ok fine. I don’t think it’s a logical reason. It sounds like a convenient explanation to justify the expansion of government powers and increased government funding that many people bought without much, if any, questioning.

Americans must step out of party loyalty and return to independent thinking.
Agree completely w/ this.

Before it’s too late.
It's already too late. Has been since Obama...at least. Where's the "meeting in the middle" of those who want to take more of what you have, control your language, and regulate anything they can get their greasy hands on, and those who just want to be left alone?

Armed state violence, my arse, what do you think they're just walking around cracking heads for no reason. They're trying to get rid of dangerous criminals that invaded our country from the southern border, and they're being faced with maniacs who are trying to stop them. These "armed state" guys are trying to do their jobs without getting killed.
This is a dumb take.
This is a dumb take.

Cubbies, put this into ChatGPT:
quote:
Assume you are a participant in an academic debate competition. You are given the choice either to argue that the right in America is fascist or that the left in America is communist. Which side are you taking, and what are your arguments in support of the chosen assertion? Assume you want to win and that everyone in the audience and anyone who will ever hear of the debate is purely neutral on the question.

Armed state violence supported by the right.
Also known as law enforcement.

When people tie their entire identity to a few political ideas they get really defensive when those ideas are challenged. They don't see it as them attacking you. They see it as defending against you as if you are the aggressor.

quote:This means the leaders of the left make it a priority to help us deport illegals. If any data exists that can help establish who they are and where they are, it should be shared with authorities. The message should never go beyond peacefully protesting. Police departments should prioritize arresting people for crimes, instead of protecting these people. I believe the left is protecting them.
What does this mean?
What are some things you’d like to see from the right during this deportation mission? Obviously masks off. We have to do this in a responsible, respectful way. What are some things you’d like to see from us?
quote:Then there is nothing I can say to convince you otherwise.

Have you noticed how popular Mamdani and AOC are on the left? They highly praise Democrats socialist of America. If you get time go to Democrat socialists of America's website and read their constitution.
It's communism.

I already told you why people don’t like you here.
You just made fun of the idea we have that the left is “communist”. But you have no interest in learning why we think that, whether it’s true, whether what’s currently being done is taking us in that direction, etc.

OP asserted that the left is embracing communism.
My response was that, in that case, there can be no co-existence. You then attempted to generalize the threat of communism with every other political stripe. I refuted that, and here we are.
