A LOT of BS is because of Iran. Most ME countries are fatigued.

Cleaning up the shite sandwich that Bush left us with and that black Jesus donated to.

Hell yes, I voted for this.

This guy speak the truth. Israel owns the US government. Israel dragged us into this war which will ignite into a larger conflict.

Everyone here is blinded by the neocon war cry “Libya is controlled by a dictator”; “weapons of mass destruction” “Iran is close to having a nuclear bomb”

We fight wars for one reason, and one reason only. Money and profit. Theres way too much money made by going to war. Have to get the central banks installed in countries that don’t have it.

Did I vote for continued long term occupation with boots on the ground in the Middle East in perpetuity? If that’s what you mean by “war” then no, I was opposed to that when I voted.

Am I opposed to dropping in, getting shite done and bouncing like we have done in Venezuela and appear likely to do in Iran? No I don’t mind that. If anything, it shows the world we aren’t to be fricked with under DJT.

I'm in this boat. Iran is a much, much riskier proposition, and there will be a ton of push for some form of occupation "to support the Israelis" or "prevent a worse leader from emerging" or to "prevent chaos" or whatever.

But that is a trap, as are all large-scale ground operations in the ME. I hope Trump can avoid falling into it.

The ME will always be characterized by chaos and bronze-age religious fanaticism. For decades now, I've heard about the strong and enlightened Persian people who are ready to rebuild their society into what it was pre-Islamic revoluion. Now's the time to step up. If they don't and another whacko Imam takes over, we may just have to swoop in there every few years and blow up their nuclear aspirations.

I would take either of those options over another 20+ year waste of American lives and capital into another ME sinkhole. We can't afford to do that again.

Of course we didn’t vote for the wars. We voted for President Trump and his people to guide us further

I think there is another benefit that a few people do not yet realize and that is what our military has shown in Venezuela and Iran will definitely cause China on anything related to Taiwan at least for the next three years

That, in and over itself, is a massive benefit

Bitch please. Have you not seen them dancing in the streets over the Ayatollahs death? They may not want to lose their own culture, but they definitely wanted western influence in the form of a big bombs killing the Islamic dictators. Thus the celebrations. And based on their society in the 60s/70s, they were one of the most "western" like cultures in the ME.

Well, learn the difference in declared war and military operations.

I've got news for you anti-military peeps. Our American military carries out a lot of operations that you and I never hear about. And yes, they also are for American security.

I don’t consider an overnight raid where we capture a shitehead dictator and bring him home to face charges before the morning donuts get cold to be a “war.”

I don't consider an overnight raid as "war" either.

But Venezuela didn't bomb the airport in Panama City, fire rockets at U.S. warships, or hit resort hotels in Aruba with suicide drones, nor did Colombia shoot down three of our aircraft in a "friendly fire" incident. Other nations in the region were never going to be drawn into an armed conflict with Venezuela over that. We went to capture a shithead dictator; we didn't kill the entire upper echelon of Venezuela's government and military. So far, this looks nothing like Venezuela.

bullshite. Any country that seizes a U.S. Embassy by force and takes American diplomats and Marines hostage is the bad guy.

Iran's been the bad guy since 1979.

How so? I just can't agree on this idea that Israel is our ally. A country that we give 3.8 billion a year to along with weaponry and intel should be fighting this war by themselves due to geographical proximity. This 'ally' of ours also takes this cash we give them and turns around and supplies free health care and higher education to their people and my family's deductible just went up to 5k.

Also, if you are a Christian, how can you be happy with calling a country your ally that abides by a religious book, the Talmud, that states Jesus is burning in hell covered in shite and that his mother the blessed virgin Mary was a whore.

I’ll speak for myself here but the term “war” needs to be clearly defined.

I'm pretty much here too. With that said, we are way too early to declare either operation a total success, although Venezuela is looking very promising.

You’re hilarious. I’m not anti-military. I’m actually more pro military than you. My family has bled and died for this country. That is the exact reason that I don’t believe in starting wars of choice. I watch family member suffer with their health because of decision made by politicians. They’ll suffer for the rest of their life.

Some of us did vote for that but also mature enough to understand military use may be needed.

I am not going to pillage my city and claim total failure on Trump's part.
