One wealthy father has a drug addict thug for a son who just got out of jail. He gives his son $100,000 and tells him to go forth and promise to be good.
Another wealthy father has a similar son who gets out of jail. He gives him a set of requirements to meet and if he does, and stays out of trouble, he will give him up to $100,000 in stages as he meets those requirements. If the son fails, the dad promises to send him back to jail.

This is a point that most people aren’t thinking about. It’s true that $300 billion is in the MOU to be paid by somebody. According to the Trump administration, Iran’s military including the navy is in shambles but the civilian infrastructure was not bombed. So $300 billion will be used by Iran to rebuild its military and weaponry. So the U.S. destroys the military to weaken Iran and yet give them money to rebuild it.

In fact, Iran is in line to receive a $300 billion “reinvestment”or rebuilding fund.
But it doesn’t count because it’s Trump and not Obama. It’s not complicated…

He wants desperately to be right. To get a win. He's most likely still incredibly embarrassed by the administration he supported replace Trump and rather than admitting that would rather play "see see" with you.
He is either being disingenuous with you, which you will not change because of the statement above, or he really believes what USA Today has told him in which case he's too stupid to take seriously.
