A lib relative keeps telling me we gave Iran $300 billion dollars. What do I tell him?

I punched the question into Grok, and essentially explained how it wasn’t true at all. He pulled up a USA Today article that explained how Trump gave them $300 billion and made a point to talk about how Trump mocked Obama for giving them money.
I honestly have not been paying close attention to this conflict and its aftermath. But just know the lib and his media sources are full of shite

Honestly, B, given that we live in a pseudo-Democratic government, we are responsible as a civic duty to bear witness to what we believe to be true. Such that people can vote with an educated choice. And for Christians as well. That is a requirement for both worldly and spiritual prosperity. IMHO.
And I need to proofread my post before hitting submit. Big thumbs little keyboard and a phone with a ‘mind’ of its own.

So 2 wrongs make a right? I get that the current $300 billion is supposed come from an international coalition, but the fact remains, that money gift is in the MOU that Trump signed. The IRGC will gladly take it and rebuild…their defenses.
