As somebody who works in education I can assure you that CRT is not a made up boogeyman. Now most people on both sides don’t understand what it actually is and how it is being implemented, but those that do are right to be 100% against it.

I love it when the planets align and the very first response to an OP is the perfect response and ends the thread.
Nothing more to say, just move along.

Lessons learned:
1. The phantom CRT boogieman worked. It's coming again in '22 so be ready to counter the empty argument.
Democrats are desperately clinging to racism as an actual issue because their policies are so bad, almost no one would ever vote for them. For Dems to win elections there MUST be an "Oppressed vs Oppressor" mindset in their electorate. They are doing anything they can to keep that mindset alive and they've targeted our school systems with CRT to do it.

2. Trump will take credit for this win and yet Youngkin absolutely SLAUGHTERED Trump's numbers across VA, and saw an incredible increase in support from....white suburban women, exactly the group that killed his road to victory in 2016. Trumpism is apparently popular, Trump is not.
I can't argue with most of this. Trump has been his own worst enemy at times. I don't think he realizes how distasteful some people find him to be when he feels like he needs to respond to everything. To me, one of the best moments of his presidency was his graciousness when RBG died. The recent attack on Colin Powell didn't sit well with a lot of my friends.

4. Fake news worked. Be it the attack on CRT, the book banning bullshite, etc., Youngkin spoon fed bullshite to the electorate and the GOP base at that shite up. Which leads to number 5...
5. The dems cannot compete in an age of right wing media's ability and willingness to flood the market with lies and half-truths. No matter what they're spewing, it's hitting a significant number of people and they are programmed to not only believe every bit of what they're fed, but allow themselves to find purpose in those lies which motivates them to both organize and vote.
This is such an intellectually dishonest take, I don't even know where to start.
Is there fake news on the right? Yes, absolutely.
Is there a much larger coalition of fake news on the left? Yes, unbelievably so.
In this very election you had fake racists standing by Youngkin's bus holding torches, with near-instantaneous coverage by dem reporters in a pathetic attempt to spring a late October surprise.

Your entire post is bullshite but let’s just focus on this for a second because it’s verifiable.
There are CRT books on best seller lists and school reading curriculums. I would love for you to explain to us how it’s a phantom issue.

Denying that there is a movement in education to begin every subject being filtered through the lens of race (more specifically white man = evil race) is a pretty far left idea.

Biden hasn't delivered on a fricking thing (thanks to Manchin and Sinema) and dem voters weren't in the least bit motivated to give McAullife, who didn't offer much of shite in the way of policy during the campaign, the gift of the governorship if he was just going to offer more of the same.
Niether Mancin nor Sinema are anywhere near centrists yet Bidens agenda is a mile left of where they can vote for it. Instead of realizing the BBB agenda is way too much government the far left is blaming those two for holding it up.

Fake news worked. Be it the attack on CRT, the book banning bullshite, etc.
The left asks people who they are going to believe them or their own lying eyes. None of that list is fake, it is all happening with a concerted, coordinated effort. Yet the left tries to lie about it. The days of the MSM being the only way information spreads are over. Your lies don't work.
quote:
The dems cannot compete in an age of right-wing media's ability and willingness to flood the market with lies and half-truths.
The fact that Democrats think the media is right-wing just shows how far left they are. The only way the media is right-wing is if you are so far left the left of center looks right-wing.

Oh, now its thousands. A post earlier today said it was ~8 people. It was maybe hundreds at most. Most people on the right laughed at the idea.
If the political scale ran from 1 (far right) to 10 (full on socialism/communism) the "mainstream" democrat right now sits somewhere between 7 and 8. So when that 7 or 8 sees something at 5 (true center) they think it is 2-3 places right of them which is correct. The problem is they see themselves as at 5 so 2-3 places to their right they see as scary.

I guess you're still left of center if you're several galaxies left of center

God, you got TDS some kinda bad.
Democratic policies and platforms are the worst. Even Democrats had finally realized that voters were turning them off. Point number 1 is exactly how Democrats have churned out new voters for the last 15-20 years. Indoctrination through public education.
Last night, Democrats got bitch slapped on that "boogieman".

Lol. That might be among the most delusional things I’ve ever read. I try to imagine what it would be like to go through life in such an ideological haze and I just feel pity. Yikes.

Wow very broad generalization there, chief.
This is the party Youngkin beat.
See I can do it too.

You just regurgitated every talking point on DU
However I agree with this in regards to the suburban women vote. Trump is popular among men and then rural women. He is not popular among suburban women and college educated white men. Desantis would win both groups and win in a landslide. He has Trump policies and a no bullshite attitude but is much more refined and likeable than Trump personality wise

Retort from an actual communist:
You learned absolutely nothing, it seems.
1. CRT is racist and teaching racism to children is antithetical to freedom.
2. Trump's popularity is solid around 36%, that's a pretty significant base for one person on the national stage.
3. The Dems do this every time. They let one or two Senators take the heat for not delivering on the promises they never intended to keep. Remember Joe Lieberman?
4. The truth is what killed McAuliffe.
5. No one, Dem or Rep, can compete in the internet age where information can be shared to show the depth of the corruption.
6. Your understanding of the Q movement is elementary. Know your enemy if you wish to counter him. However, you'll be siding with pedophiles, which is the cleverness of the Q propaganda.

OP is a perfect example of the democrat's mindset. Real issues are fake. Fake issues are life and death matters.
I was just perusing DU and read this gem about Democrats being in trouble going forward:
"I expect the pendulum to swing back in favor of Democrats soon, especially if Republicans start resurrecting confederate monuments."
These motherfricker really think people are deciding their voting patterns on statues...

When I first read this post, I thought you were just listing a collection of the kook fringe dialogue you had read but now I realize you actually believe the fantasy.
BTW, the cultural sabotage called "CRT" is being taught all over the public school systems but the terminology has been altered to disguise it. Now it is called DEI - Diversity Equity and Inclusion. The left had to change the language in an attempt to avoid rejection and hide the ugly truth

Look in the mirror, idiot. The left does this far more (and worse) than the right.
