Why does the hundreds feet matter?

The demon on the train ended an innocent life with a knife.

Just as easy.

I'd be shocked if the number of people killed with a bolt action on purpose is in the tens per year.

Are you so callous that you think this is a good time to score points on something that only makes sense to you?

It doesn't matter how much the bullet drops. That is not relevant. If you sight the gun in for 200 yards its group will clustered on the bullseye at 200 yards.

If it is sighted in at 100 it will hit low at 200.
If it is sighted in at 400 it will hit high at 200.

That's pretty much what “Notices Bulges. OwO? What’s this?” means. Noticing a bulge on someone who presents as a woman and being turned on by it.

You weren't aware of bolt-action rifles prior to this? They were used at Sharpsburg in 1862.

Yep. I’ve never been hunting. I’ve never had any interest in firearms.

We are wired to think distance is safety. It’s why we run away from danger.

Idk what this means. I can assure you that I never post anything with an expectation or desire to score any points with anyone.

You honesty think the average non-gun enthusiast knows that “bolt action” describes a type of rifle?

It’s one of the most basic rifles made.

A bolt-action hunting rifle is legal to own even in countries with egregious gun laws, like the UK and Australia.

There is no law that even the most wackjob liberal has proposed that would ever outlaw bolt-action hunting rifles.

All of the talking points equating this to a 2A or gun rights issue are moronic.

My unfamiliarity with guns is not the same as advocating for gun restrictions.

And it wouldn’t move the needle on firearm homicides if you could. Rifles, even scary black ones with detachable magazines, just don’t kill that many people outside of war zones.

Uhhhhhh yeah dude lol.

Every single movie with a sniper is a bolt action because it looks cool to use. It’d be like saying you dont know what a pump action shotgun is. More people would not know there are other kinds of snipers than not know what a bolt action is.

You should really take this as an opportunity to realize that you dont have even the cursory knowledge needed to discuss guns and sit out all “gun control” conversations. You wont. Your “im right so i dont need to be knowledgeable” hubris wont let you. But you should
