Typically, insulting other people doesn’t improve one’s own emotional state. In fact, it usually has the opposite effect. It’s clear you have a lot of anger and frustration that’s causing you to lash out at strangers on the internet. Journaling would probably be more productive than hurling more insults at me

Not to worry. I am laughing now.
This post was awesome trollery.

So DEI?

Whats your point?

Its a hunting rifle. You can find hunting rifles in homes across the world.

MFer are you really encouraging another left leaning weirdo to learn how to use a firearm??

- I get what you're saying for sure, but -

I don't foresee 4Cubbies as ever going hunting for squirrels or deer, much less shooting a person. And, let's face it, shooting is relaxing and helps clear the mind of all the noise and clutter due to the focus required.

People who have never held or fired a rifle, shotgun, or sidearm are frequently afraid of them because they don't understand anything about them and they have been lied to by politicians who are equally as uninformed about firearms. Learning how to handle and use a rifle, shotgun, or pistol will open their eyes as to how ludicrous the claims of the fringe left really are when it comes to this topic.

Education in any subject is incomplete without lab time (aka "hands-on experience).

Humans have been using weapons that are lethal, out to the range in question, for over 1000 years.
Even the monkees in 2001 A Space Odyssey figured it out.

If this shooting never happened and somebody said that Kirk wears body armor under his clothes when he does these forums, I wouldn't think anything of it. There are some unstable people that come to these events and they are very public. That wouldn't be an unreasonable thing to do.

Lots of these guys do. Ben Shapiro has shown his rig on camera before. As someone else pointed out, most of these guys have a sponsorship with some body armor companies.

However, they all mostly wear soft armor that isnt as noticeable since they are usually filming content to put out. And soft armor setups like Ben, and presumably others, wears usually wont have plates in them. That defeats the purpose of trying to not to look like you have body armor on. They do make level III-A plates to supplement soft armor, but it is made of either ceramic or a high strength plastic. Both are designed to "catch" a bullet by absorbing the impact just like the Kevlar of soft body armor. The only way there would be a ricochet or major spalling is if the bullet hit a metal, usually titanium, plate carried in a vest.

As I said above I have a bolt action of the same rifle that can target 1000 yards and I regularly shoot 600-700 yard targets.

From a prone position under no stress a 200 yard shot is extremely easy with that rifle assuming you have it scoped correctly

Dude, get real. 30-06 lead will drop 5 feet at 520 yards. You would have to aim at the moon to hit something 700 yards away. 150 to 200 yards however is easy peasy.

It’s wild that these weapons are easily available to anyone who wants them. Humans are really good at figuring out easy ways to hurt and kill each other.

The rifle in question is readily available in Western European countries who have ReAsOnAbLe GuN cOnTroL LaWs.

I realize you weren't responding to me but I'll try to answer. Large entry wound because it is a huge powerful round on a human target. The round is easily capable of killing Bears, Moose and Elk. You can easily kill a human target with a .22 round to the throat. Notice below the massive difference in size a.22lr round is (far right) compared to 30-06 (second from left). Just the hydrostatic shock from a massive slug hitting you at the rate of spped it is moving is devastating. Its overkill on a human.

The question here is what was Tyler Robinson doing with his time if he dropped out of college after one semester? He was 22. What was he doing for those non-college years? Was he working? What groups was he a part of? What information was he consuming? How was he spending his time?

We may find out because he was too big a pussy to commit suicide. But if I'm correct, Utah has execution by firing squad.

Correct. First you have to have a deranged leftist like 4cubbies, set on murdering people. Then the pieces fall in place.

There’s really no other way to explain such a big entry wound.

A 30 caliber bullet makes a hole, "big" is a relative term

Yes . It's actually too powerful of a round to use practically in assault rifles (yes i know about the BAR). Too much kick (Recoil). It's a rifle for Deer hunters

My $0.02

I think he hit the clavicle and that neck wound may be from fragments or splatter due to the projectile coming apart or some amount of ricochet.

I've done a fair amount of practical shooting matches and been hit by small fragments of bullet while shooting steel targets. I've seen small pieces of shrapnel that weighed almost nothing cut people when they get hit.

Bullets, and bullet fragments, are moving very fast at impact. When they hit something even remotely solid they fracture into many parts.
