Until democrats take back power and return it all.
There are many on the right who still underestimate how vindictive and dangerous the Democratic Socialists/never Trumpers are. If they regain power after the 2026 midterms prepare for some next level leftist insanity.

They most certainly will regain power at some point. The same authority Trump has used will be used to undo everything and more.

Not from the Middle East, or not alot from the Middle East. And thank God. But we are not "oil independent".

Better for the future for all. How about cut back and some of the meaningless shite you purchase on a daily basis to offset the increase in fuel? No you won’t consider that because you only give a shite about the present and how your lifestyle is being slightly inconvenienced. We have created a culture full of people like you. We need more people who are looking out to a better future for our children and future generations past.

Today Trump JOKED but he had to tell Maria Bartriomo HE WAS JOKING.
He told Maria...the strait is now strait of Trump. She cringed. He was joking but he knows what he is doing.
Megyn Kelly looks like the biggest arse screaming it wasn't 47D chess...
Trump is bombastic, says a lot of cringe things. But he isnt stupid and he isnt ran by Israel. The dividers can GFT.

If we had excess capacity that would be incredible leverage and it is leverage in the short term.
But we don’t have enough excess capacity without Venezuela on line with refineries which are still a ways out to make up for what the ME isn’t providing right now which means prices will go up and the economy will slow as other markets cannot do what they need to at their previous pricing or in some cases at all.

That’s not a deflection. I’m asking for clarification of what your inbred hillbilly arse is confused about.

So is Gavin your boy in '28?

This was the reason behind starting the war with Iran!
Yes, we bombed their nuclear ambitions but the purpose was to shut down the straights.
Now the US gets to sell the oil.
Coincidence that we secured Venezuela oil first?
6D chess again while the world calls the US leadership incapable.
Now the US in a 3 week move controls 100% of the world oil supply and price and we return to the Petro-Dollar-Dominance.
nobody's really this gullible, right?

I think y'all are overcomplicating it. Iran's only remaining bargaining chip was SOH. Now that's off the table. If we sell extra oil for a little while, that's a bonus, but not the intent of blockading the straight. Those tankers were heading here before the US announcement, they were coming here because of Iran's blockade.

So Trump has been demanding that they open the strait but now the goal all along was to close it?

So this is going to take my gas price from $3.89 back down to 2.15 where it was before we did Israels bidding

quote:The house Im sittin in was paid for in part by processing Venezuela crude in east Texas refineries. We control that crude now so calling it a import or not isn't important. What's important is we do not need middle eastern oil to survive like back in 74.
You do realize we import a bunch of oil still, right?
Also, you can't really talk oil without talking gas in the world of energy and this makes in even better position globally.
