Also—there has never been a major construction job at the White House in modern times that wasn’t simultaneously used as cover for more security, defense, and control upgrade below the surface. I’m assuming that is happening with this one as well.
Just wait—at some point some portion of this job site will be covered with tents or very tall fences. Of course it’s about the ballroom wing but I would be shocked if that’s all they’re doing.

I don’t know if Obama will be charged or not, but I doubt it.
Nevertheless, you have a mistaken belief about that SCOTUS case. It does not shield the president from criminal charges if the acts were outside the scope of his official duties, it only gives a presumption of immunity.

I thought Obama only added a basketball court and some garden/kitchen renovations. Trump added a tennis pavilion during his first term. This shite is nothing new. However, we do need to stop hosting events in tents
