And there you have it, folks. Straight from the typing fingertips of Yang's #1 supporter on TD. No need to worry about inflation from over-leveraging a fiat currency while simultaneously flooding the market with the currency. Nothing to see here, keep moving.

Two Democratic lawmakers are proposing a bill that would provide $2,000 monthly payments to Americans until employment levels return to pre-coronavirus levels.

With $2000 a month we will NEVER return to unemployment levels pre COVID. I guess that’s the plan.

FWIW that’s only $8 trillion a year if all Americans get $2000 a month.

So if trump loses the election and we never get back to “pre-coronavirus levels” Americans just continue to get paid out?

Yeah, it just continuous indefinitely like they are in the Soviet Union today. LOL

They pretend to pay you, and you pretend to work... or in this case... just sit at home, what could go wrong?

My goodness. I may seek a Dr to approve disability and I could make 5-6K per month.

Not a shabby number along with investments. Then I can go start a cash only food truck and open for 3-4 hours a day.

The monthly payments of at least $2,000 would go to everyone 16 or older who makes less than $130,000 annually. Married couples making a combined $260,000 would receive at least $4,000.

Isn’t this anyone outside of the top 5% income bracket? That’s a $2k check for 95% of Americans over 16.

IF, they were to really do this, then I would expect "things" we buy would go up accordingly. Milk at 20 dollars a gallon etc... It would be a "NET 0"!

You can’t really own either of those. If they want it they can take it by eminent domain or by taxing you out of it. It’s all an illusion

At least he came up a way for it to be funded, by taxing the big companies, and using money already in the economy. If you just print more money then there will be massive inflation and will defeat the whole purpose.

No shite. That's insane. That's an additional $54,000 annually for my family.
