FWIW that’s only $8 trillion a year if all Americans get $2000 a month.
Just take it from Jeff Bezos and Michael Bloomburg. They have enough to give everyone $1,000,000 each.

Nope. They’ll just pass those taxes along to customers. That’s who will pay the taxes. Or they will just move overseas, and take their income there.

Wait so there’s no exact date it will end just pay till the entire economy returns to the record highs it was at befor corona? No economist here but where would the money come from and what if we don’t reach that level for say 8 months? This has one motive... to get people to vote for them.

So basically they are using the virus as a reason to

--stop Trump's rallies

--taint Trump's historic economy

--blame Trump for the virus

--make Trump lose Trumpocrats

--keep Biden from having to show he couldn't get a library filled

--destroy human beings self respect in working

-- allow retirees some free money wanting to stay on a gravy train (buy votes?)

-- dismantle the way we vote so they can require no ID; have everybody vote 100 times each online or by mail

After the election when they haven't cheated Biden in... then they will suddenly stop all of this; and we will pay for it all in spades-- after they vote in their pay raises and pimp their slush funds...

Has everyone lost the ever loving minds?

Good is bad and bad is good...

Hop aboard the crazy train choo choo

Those that are still lucky enough to still be working (upper management have taken huge paycuts all in between loss of hours & or OT)

Yet these congress critters put a freaking pay raise bonus in for themselves. AND gave BS museums and artsy fartsy BS billions

I think they all need a huge cut in pay and fired but maybe a dozen...

Can we do this? Can we please fire all of them? Trump doesn't take a salary so he can stay.

We just need to print a 350 trillion dollar bill. Pay off all the national debt. Give everyone 1 Million dollars, and even have a few trillion left over for some fun pork projects.

If you got this and the current enhance unemployment (extra $600/week) a couple could be making over $10,000/month for doing nothing? It's about to be real hard for businesses to keep employees and we are about to see crazy unemployment numbers.

I’m waiting for this shortly, it’s got to be coming based on what we have already printed this year.

But than the total US Federal Reserve (debt) system goes from $70t to $350T, you do know the system uses debt as money?

This is starting to remind of this exchange in the movie Sneakers.

quote:

Cosmo: In prison I learned that everything in this world, including money, operates not on reality...
Bishop: ...but the perception of reality.
Cosmo: Posit: people think a bank might be financially shaky.
Bishop: Consequence: people start to withdraw their money.
Cosmo: Result: pretty soon it is financially shaky.
Bishop: Conclusion: you can make banks fail.
Cosmo: Bzzt. I've already done that. Maybe you've heard about a few? Think bigger.
Bishop: Stock market?
Cosmo: Yes.
Bishop: Currency market?
Cosmo: Yes.
Bishop: Commodities market?
Cosmo: Yes.
Bishop: Small countries?
Cosmo: With luck, I might even be able to crash the whole damned system. Destroy all records of ownership. Think of it, Marty. No more rich people, no more poor people, everybody's the same, isn't that what we said we always wanted?
Bishop: Cos, you haven't gone crazy on me, have you?
Cosmo: Who else is going to change the world, Marty? Greenpeace?

If it was it be just for people directly impacted by the virus and shutdown. Giving it to everyone tells me they are doing their best to tank the country and put us in a depression.

The monthly payments of at least $2,000 would go to everyone 16 or older who makes less than $130,000 annually. Married couples making a combined $260,000 would receive at least $4,000. Qualifying families with children would receive an additional $500 per child for up to three children.

Quick way to nip this in the bud:

Republicans need to counter with talking that money out of the income tax payments made to the government. Why have the money leave the taxpayer, funnel it through the government, and give it back to the people? Let the taxpayers have it right now instead of three months down the road.
