Maybe. The other incident mentioned was in Auburn, which obviously isn't suffering from the burden of a radical DA, etc.
I think this is a cultural issue that goes beyond what's happening re: law enforcement laxity in big cities.

The entire thing was filmed and not one person on the scene attempted to render aid and instead just stood around and filmed. I think rescue finally arrived about 10 minutes later but it's still sad what our society has become. A bunch of screen mongrels looking for fame.

We are being gaslighted into believing that things are worse than they are. Our country is surely suffering moral decay, and it probably will be our eventual undoing, but we are not as far down that road as many think.
