Glock 26 with Glock 19 mags. Easier to carry, same capacity.

The 26 is a lot easier to shoot than the 43. I have both. I am way more accurate, as is my wife with the 26 than the 43. The 26 is a bit bigger, but would be easier to carry than a 19.

I guess I'm not the right person to ask -- since I carry a G19 with a factory +2 extender on the mag. I carry it every day, all day (except when I enter a NPE).
I have a G43, and a G27 (with G26 "conversion"). There's a world of difference in shooting the 19 at anything approaching a rapid pace, compared to the littler Glocks.
Un-conversely, there's (for me) no appreciable gain in "shootability" derived from the G17 or the G34 (I have one or two of each).
The 19 is sorta the "sweet spot" in the Glock 9mm line -- not too big to carry but capable of being shot really well (by those who can do so, not me) -- which is probably why it is Glock's most popular model (and might explain the FBI's recent choice and the rumored Navy SEAL choice).
Just my $.02 worth.

double stack Glock 9mms will be the official sidearm of the militia, so make sure you have at least one if you're a good old boy. And 6 mags.

No Glock 45 fans?

You're better off trying to conceal a G19 than you are using a G43 for home defense.
Like someone said, the G26 will take 17/19 mags and the hi cap 33 rd mags. That's your best bet if you're really trying to have one gun do everything.
Some people conceal the 19, but even the 26 is a little too bulky for me.

G19 Gen 4 with either a HSP Incog or Crossbreed IWB holster. I recently purchased the crossbreed/I.C.E belly band with kydex and it carries really nice. I'm a smaller frame guy (5'-6" 140lbs) who wears semi fitted clothing and it conceals really nice with gym clothes and/or casual clothing. When I'm done for the day, I have the crossbreed bedside backup that the same holster velcros to on the side of the bed. Really like this setup.
Just my opinion...

I have a 21 and a 30, and the answer for me is, "No."

I like my 22c but for cc, between your options, I would go with the 19.

I would rather hold a 40 caliber cartridge with a pair of needle nose pliers and try to hit the primer with a pick axe than carry a glock

Had both at one point.
The 43 was too small for my liking. After trying to carry it I decided small guns were great because they are easy to conceal but suck when trying to get to in an entanglement.
Went back to the 19 w/ an XC1. I use an OTG appendix holster and an ares gear aegis enhanced belt everyday.

Buy a 19, then if you want something smaller get a 43. Worst case scenario is also your best case scenario: you're left with two Glocks.

Why did you post your height and weight?

19 is perfect for home defense and conceal for me. Use the 17 round G17 magazines for the home

I have a 43 and a 19 as well as a 17, 26, 34, and 30.
If I had to choose I'd pick the 19 as the best all around glock...
