If you are looking for an everyday belt check out ares gear.

Leather-----mean gene

The Ares buckle doesn't use holes. Easy peasy.

Check out verovilini if you're looking for a traditional hunting sling.

I've gotten to where I use a VTAC sling on everything.

FWIW I tried a g43 and went back to a 19.

Even with the extension i couldn't comfortably get to the pistol in any other situation except square to the target unopposed. Grip length was just to short.

I didn't try it with the TT +2 but I figured if I was making the grip length as long as a 19, why not just carry the 19.

FGMM is a gold standard.

Black hills cans have some high SDs in my experience.

Prime has been putting out some stupid consistent stuff. Lots of PRS guys are shooting it.

What caliber are you shooting?

Curious as to why.

Just curious as to why you guys are using qd mounts instead of fixed mounts.

More for market research than anything.

What spring are you referring to? The mbus2 has a spring to raise the sight but it locks in place due to the design. If the spring wasn't there you could still raise the sight and lock it in place

This is correct. There is a detent that holds it in the upright position. I still prefer not to have a spring actuated sight.

Also the thickness of the sight itself is not as slim causing me to have to use a talker mount if using a magnified optic

But there seems to be a whole generation (not referring to you) that wants a magical gun & holster rig that they won't even feel when they carry.

Couldn't agree with you more.

I was in the same frame of mind until I challenged myself to carry a bigger pistol. Now I'm just used to it.

Sights? Mbus gen2 or mbus pro? Flashlight suggestions? Pressure switch or not? Vertical or angled foregrip?

For sights I typically use the dd fixed front/rear. I I have a magnified optic I use the mbus pro because I prefer not to have a spring that could fail.

If you are looking for a decent light I would check out the new streamlight tlr rail mount lights.

As far as pressure switches are concerned to each his own. I use clickable tail caps on my lights. Except for the one tlr1 that I have mounted at the 12.

I prefer short vertical grips for my shooting style. I find the offer the most support for various shooting positions over hand stops or angled VFGs

Concealment

For appendix carry we stock Off the grid concepts. I use their stuff for my g19 w/xc1.

For owb behind the hip we have blackpoint concealment. Their leather win can double as an IWB.

For IWB we also have crossbreed and comtac.

We're bring in Raven Concealment as well but haven't gotten our first order in yet.

TENT SALE

FWIW all of their optics are listed at MAP (including their night vision) Our companies sell at those prices everyday.

Their beretta, Benelli, and stoger stuff is listed at MAP as well.

I'm not into clothing but there might be some deals to be had there.

My first ar was a DD v5lw and I think the other was the v7 smooth round HG I don't see it listed anymore.

The original V7 used their MFR rail which was apparently before its time because MLOK is basically the same thing lol.

The new V7 is mlok.
Had both at one point.

The 43 was too small for my liking. After trying to carry it I decided small guns were great because they are easy to conceal but suck when trying to get to in an entanglement.

Went back to the 19 w/ an XC1. I use an OTG appendix holster and an ares gear aegis enhanced belt everyday.

Another vote for option B.

But play with a V7 first. I really dig the new mlok handguard.

Wish I would have waited for the V7SLW

Have they fixed the issues with impact shift when changing mag. It was a major issue a while ago.

FN actually supplies M16s and M4s for our military. If anyone can make a quality product, it's FN.

They also build M240B/G and MK19s. M249s as well.

Browning shotguns and some Winchester rifles.

FN builds some mighty fine firearms.
If you can take the time go to br and do it at LSP. You'll get your license much quicker.

but i would like some insight on these .308 ARs

Thoughts on these:

Sig 716 Patrol

S&W M&P 10

DMPS GII Recon

Remington R25

To get bac on topic, I wouldn't over look the Armalite Tac series rifles. The offer a great value to the consumer IMHO.

Keymod hand guard
Ambi lower
AXTS charging handle
Adjustable gas block
Magpul butt stock, pistol grip, and MBUS
And no more proprietary mag.

Price will range from 1600-1700 from what I've seen depending on barrel length (16,18,20")
