Hands down the new Hell's Bay 24'9" Estero Bay boat is the best bay boat I've ever run and I've been on most of them. This boat runs great and handles like a luxury european sports car.

One of these is for sale on LA Sportsman right now. Looks like a really nice rig IMO. Did a little research and they are owned by the same company that makes Sundance and that seemed to give a lot of people on the hull truth pause when recommending.

IWDI though.

ETA: Knowing nothing about expensive 25' boats, I like the Scout 251 XS

and the Seahunt RZR 24

I work for Crevalle so if there's any questions I can help with I'd be happy to answer them.

If you want a top tier fiberglass boat, do some research and ask one question. Is the boat made with a two or three piece construction. Your research should show a three piece made hull is a better build hull but it is more expensive to make.

This is one of the major differences between a 100k and 65k bay boat of equal length and features.

FYI both of the newly made Gravois hull have a great ride in a chop. Some are now step hulls which improves gas mileage.

Stay away from any boat with a Sea in its name.

That is a true statement, probably not much of a used market on Barkers either. I am in a '04 Hydra Sport Bay Bolt 23' and I have been nothing but impressed with the boat. I moved down from an older 26' Pursuit and Bay Bolt rides better in the gulf than the Pursuit did. I think they are highly underated but I do have a biaed opinion.

I've driven both and while the YF is a very nice boat the HB is a real step above

Just curious where are you planning on fishing with a boat that size?
