I got a war eagle 17 ft with a 40 Yamaha 2 stroke. Big enough for larger lakes, small enough for those shallow bayous and backwater areas

Everglades 243 CC.

Perfect for reds/trout/blackfish in Mobile Bay, and can run 25+ miles offshore if weather cooperates.

Better check those specs, 25' and up can tote the treefitty.
Yam has discontinued the treefitty also.
Agree that seachaser is on the very low end quality wise.
Have toyed with selling and buying a 24 haynie but after fishing one all day those damn sit on the floor seats aren't for me.

The fishing deck actually fishes like a 24'.....its huge.

I was looking at a Skeeter 22'. Beautiful boat but the deck space was tight for a family of 5. Which is actually 3-4 fishing now.

Is 23.5 in the 22' range? If so a Tideline 235 Hybrid

My buddy bought one last year. Its a very big boat. After riding on it some, I'm not sure I would spend 125k on it, but still a solid fishing platform.

With 2 merc 200's, its a 60+ boat, but the ride is not much better than any other 24 ft bay boat.

I will say, the new mercs are crazy quite.

I fish alot on a 23 baybolt, and its great all around. 25 blackjack Coastal would be up on my list as well.
