Frozen pogies?

Posted by TigahTeets on 5/24/22 at 2:31 pm
Anyone know where they sell frozen pogies around Nola area or on the way to Fouchon? Haven't been south since the storm and don't know whos open and has them.

Thanks for the help
Research Cultured marble, its produced in big sheets and it can be done in all kinds of patterns and colors. Several builders in the area are going with it over tile showers.

I keep a few sets of cheap toggs in the boat in case of unexpected storms but they usually don't last more than 1 use.
10 months and counting here, I usually check the progress once a month and its been processing for a while. Maybe subsonics for less than $10 a round will be available by the time I'm approved
Hell yea you've got to love a nice cup of joe while watching them fly. I've been having them at the house for about 2 weeks now.

Pier 21 in Kenna Bra. Not a huge fan of Bent, the few times I've dealt with them they seemed over priced and not too friendly.
I'm sorry to hear about this but you're doing the right thing! I have a 7yr old Dane and I dread the day Ill have to do it. 13 years for a Dane is amazing, I'm sure its lived a wonderful life but don't let the last few months or weeks be filled with pain and regret that you didn't do it sooner! God its the worst when they look at you with those big eyes and you just know they aren't doing well. If only they could talk! Good luck and hope all goes well!

re: Illinois hunt

We hunted pike county Illinois this past year for the first time. We hunted 2nd week of Nov. The weather was the worst obstacle. First few days of the trip it was 80 degrees and the last couple it was 30 degrees.

Saw 2 GIANTS (160+) but could never get them in close! We are 100% going back! It was awesome watching Bucks chase does all week and having 20+ deer in the field. Its on a whole different level of hunting.

I recommend using a climber, easy to use and comfortable for an all day sit. Problem is you tend to sweat when walking in with a climber. Be mindful to leave earlier so you can take your sweet arse time with all those layers on. I wont fully dress out until I'm in the climber in the tree, to help prevent sweat.

Use ON-X maps to help layout pinch points/choke points for stands.

Buy really good base layers, Bring hand warmers, Bring extra socks and swap them out once you're in the stand, Have good insulated boots.

re: Has anybody ever used Rio shotshells?

Posted by TigahTeets on 12/29/20 at 5:03 am to
I have used them for the last 5 years for duck hunting and they work great, haven't had a single issue!! They caught on quick though because they are hard to find like everything else
Been shooting 3" for 10 yrs plus, and works fine for me! 3-1/2 is preferred for geese or if you enjoy getting punished you can use them to sky blast ducks. people would shoot a 4" if they had them so its all what you want. Choose your correct # shot shell for the situation.

Thanks for taking the time to type that up and sharing your knowledge. Yea its definitely a different ball game than we are used to so it'll be interesting for sure, going with the mindset of learning and enjoying the experience. I'll be sure to let y'all know how we did.

Chimney top trail is awesome

Dolly wood is fun for a day

Sky bridge is new and has great views

Zip lines, brewery hopping etc... Tons of stuff to see and do that'll require more than 1 trip

Illinois archery trip

Heading to Illinois on a archery semi-guided trip this week. Hunting 7 days and weather seems to be cooperating with us, wondering if you baws have any advice from hunting up there since this is our first time hunting that area.
Viburnum for sure! I have a dozen of these I planted a few years ago
