I prefer mine long sleeve. I wear mine in hot weather regardless of activity, more shooting guns or visiting jobsites (or drinking beer outside) than just fishing. I'm not huge on PFG as I think they are overrated. I really miss the white WW Sportsman but bass pro doesn't have it on their website anymore.

Poncho-Thick
Columbia Blood and Guts-Thin
Sims-Kind of in between but on the thinner side

Wife hates them all equally when I try to expand their use beyond fishing

Brands aside, once you go with the really thin ones you will never be able to go back to the 1st generation thicker ones. I grabbed an old thicker one to do some yard work in and it felt like I was in a canvas coat!

Wife beater t-shirt, cargo shorts and tennis shoes for a day in a boat. Oh, and a hat with a nice brim to keep the sun out the eyes.

Another vote for Aftco. Simms makes some nice shirts as well.

Some good suggestions already. I was gifted a shirt from the brand "Anetik" and it's my favorite long sleeved sun shirt so far

Those goofy looking thin long sleeve performance shirts. They are just so comfortable in the heat I don't care how goofy I look. I have been trying out some OEM brands, I found one I like, 50 UPF, lightweight, built well. 1/3 the cost of a Columbia blank and is honestly built better.

I have too many brands to name, but the Habit brand from Sam's is my favorite.

I have a bunch of those. They are cheap, work just ask well as my Simms/Huk/PFG shirts, and I can get them dirty and tear them up without feeling bad about it. So they have become my go to for actually using for their intended purpose doing outdoorsy things. I have a bajillion different colors/brands in my closet. If I'm in Academy and I see one on the clearance rack in my size I'll pick it up.

I have this one as well, it was my first hooded fishing shirt and I thought I'd hate it. Turns out to be much better than I expected, now I'll only buy hooded fishing shirts.

I usually wear the Habit shirts from Sam's. My wife bought me a couple of bamboo Free Fly and Tasc shirts this year and I don't know if I'll ever go back to the vented shirts. The only bad thing is they aren't cheap and I manage to get grease all over anything I wear fishing.

The Duck Camp brand shirts I mentioned above are bamboo. They are a GameChanger for sure.
