Worst thing ive brought to the stand was a girlfriend.
. Pro tip: You bring them to a larger, comfy box stand; not to a lock-on. FYI.

I hear there a thin line separating the two.

Beer and hot peanuts is my go to. I’ll slip in honey buns on the morning hunts.

Not much of a snack guy. I rarely take much other than coffee and water.

Lance’s cheese crackers with peanut butter. Always. Pop tarts for morning hunts, sandwich for long sits. Walgreens sells bags of various trail type mixes that are very good and go on sale often.

Worst thing ever brought to a stand. Got there and realized my ziploc full of wet wipes was empty. If not for the red shop towel, I’d have been in a bad place.

Salami and cheese on white bread. First time I had it a friend in huntin camp made them for us and I threw a couple in my pack for an all day sit. Later that day I killed my first buck big enough for the wall. 5 years later I decided to make those same sammiches and that day I killed my second buck for the wall. So I’m 2 for 2 with those in the stand with me.

Worst? I don’t think I’ve brought anything regrettable to the stand. Most regrets are about some poor choices the night before

honey bun is the answer to both questions

I don't know when it started or why, but the honey bun is the official snack at our duck camp and has been for a long time.

Snack- oatmeal cream pies, granola bar, protein drink, water, beer/bourbon.

Worst- booze; it may or may not have been the reason a button buck went in my freezer my 1st year hunting.

Satsumas, can or 2 of vienna sausage, and crackers.
Also a Gatorade zero which when empty makes a good #1 storage container.

Dumbest (2 things)

I took everything my grandpa said as the gospel. There weren’t a whole lot of deer behind his house but every time I stayed with him I would give the them hell he told me deer liked the smell of vanilla extract and that they loved peanut butter. I went and bought some jiffy peanut butter and put it about waste high on a tree. Next day I came back and it was gone. I was like holy shite. He had some vanilla extract in the pantry and I lathered up with that shite and grabbed my peanut butter and 20 gauge and walked behind the house. He put the dogs in the house I put that peanut butter on that same tree and sat by a tree. About 20 minutes later the dogs come running straight to me and started going to town on that peanut butter ans I am just sitting there with that sticky arse vanilla all over me like an idiot. My grandpa was deep in the Evan Williams when I drug up and he laughed his arse off

I used to do the vanilla extract. But when I got into bowhunting and started hunting warmer days the fricking bees wouldn't leave me alone. Almost jumped out the tree one time.

On that note, some people like Nosejammer. I love the note on the back of Nosejammer that says "Do not use in bear country".
