Lower unit. Oil reservoir pump. Two livewell pumps had di be replaced. Just today I engage my power pole. Well after it anchors it won’t turn off. I had to unplug the fuse. Plug back in same thing. Finally get it to work and take off for home. About 10 min later the pole engages and luckily I was in 10 feet of water or the whole thing would have been ripped out.

Old world cat master power switch and tachometer went out. Took the chance to move the switches up to the dash where they should have been from the beginning and change some of the gauges. Ended up having to rewire everything in the console, took 37 hrs. But looks great.

Even if I don’t catch a single fish, I’ll smile if I make it back to the launch and nothing’s broken. This thread is why.

My marsh anchor came uncoupled and I lost it. And my trailer plug needs to be replaced. Things could be worse.

Scupper flaps that kept getting stuck closed

Livewell pump

Nav lights (plastic broke on one of them)

Trailer winch lanyard broke

Trolling motor pos and neg decided to start making contact inside the plug

Smart craft gauge went out and a crack randomly showed up on the other one

FSM pump float went bad, then a tube inside the FSM ruptured when I took it out the very next time

Don't even ask about last year

I bought it ten years used and the guy barely ever took it out, I should have just about all the kinks ironed out by now

Same with mine. I’m pretty sure it’s the sending unit that needs to be replaced, or at the very least there is an issue with the wires.

This year took the boat in to mechanic to fix the starting problem with my 115 Evinrude Ficht (sometimes starts on 1st try, sometimes 4th or 9th, sometimes 50th try, etc.). After two months he couldn't find the solution to it.

Spoke with EMM computer guy in Mobile; he said it's not the computer.

Spoke with several other mechanics around town and showed them starting video; those that deal with Evinrudes say they've seen it before on those type of Fichts and it's basically an unsolvable problem.

About to sell the whole boat and upgrade to a new one...

Fuel gauges on boats are impossible to fix.

I do electrical things for a living and have no idea what kind of black magic makes them work.

Trolling fast moving to another spot on Ross Barnett, I hit a stump with my Terrova, cracked the composite shaft all the way down. Got trash in livewell pump, gotta remove everything to fix it. My Helix popped out of the mount running across a rough Lake Fork, broke the tray that hooks the wires to the back. Winch on trailer came apart, had to replace. I'm sure more that I cant remember.
