Not sure if this has been asked before but I'm curious as to what everyone shoots. Not looking to pit one against the other, just a simple reply of the brand of firearm and caliber that you use for what you hunt. I guess you could also mention what game it is you hunt.

What brand and caliber rifle or shotgun do you shoot?

Me:

Ruger M77 in 7mm Mag for deer
choice of Ithica, Remington and Winchester shotguns
Remington 552 BDL

Simple old Rem 30.06 from the early 1960's. Takes down anything in North America, and that's the only place I hunt.

Well I did shoot this custom lefty in 260 Remington, but I just sold it. Took all I had when I walked into UPS to ship it.

As you can see my kid didn't want it to either.

So now, Ill shoot the plain Jane Rem 700 in 270 Win that I've had since high school.

That is until the lefty surgeon 591 I'm about to buy is built. Going to have a couple barrels for it.
