Beginning to look for new tires as mine will need to be changed by summer I'd say... I currently have & have always had Toyo Open Country M/T's, I like them & they last but looking for something less aggressive with a little smoother ride as I don't "mud ride," these tires are used to get me out of a bind in the woods at times, steep boat launch or boat launch with hyacinth all over it so to help with traction, & just to be safe rather than stranded when needed. What do y'all recommend? Hearing good reviews on Nitto Ridge Grapplers...

Look at Cooper Rugged Trek. Great tires that I will replace with the same when the time comes.

Just checked them out. Appear to have majority good reviews. How would you say the cab noise is with these?

Look at Cooper

I have 75k mile on my Cooper Discoverer A/Ts and they still have good tread left. They've been good on and off pavement. They've gone up $25/tire since Covid hit but still less than competitors at $150/tire. I'm getting another set once the tread wears more. They've turned me into a Cooper fan.

Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Best tires I've put on a 1/2 ton truck.

Nowhere near a mud tire. I honestly don’t usually even notice it unless the radio is completely off.

I have Falkens on my Tacoma. They’ve done well.

I’ve bought nothing but Coopers for about 15 years on multiple vehicles and cannot say one bad thing about them. Until I have a bad experience with them it’s all I will ever buy.

Mastercraft is made by Cooper and they last really well too, there’s several tread patterns for off-road, I’ve alternated between Cooper and Mastercraft for over 20 years now and never been disappointed.

I just bought some general grabber ATX. 35x12.5x20. Watched a bunch of YouTube videos. Felt like they were good all around AT tires for mud and snow.

I waffled back and forth between the Nitto Ridge Grapplers and the Falcon Wildpeak ATW 3s. The local service center that does my work had the Wildpeaks readily available but would have to order in the Ridge Grappler so that made my decision for me.
They installed the Wildpeaks 3 weeks ago and I got to try them out in belly-dragging snow to get to a pumphouse with a frozen pressure tank fitting right after we got 17" of snow with 35+ mph winds. The tires were great and do an impressive job on ice and snow yet they don't seem to make much sound on the highway, but I hate that damned "traction control" system on these newer vehicles when it thinks that it needs to take command instead of me.

Not real popular yet but I got a set of pirelli scorpion all terrain plus stock size put on my f150 about 5,000 miles ago and they have been great in all conditions I’ve put them in. Just the right level of aggressive I was looking for, a P rated tire so good quiet ride, and a pound heavier than stock. I drive 80% highway, 20% slippery boat launch, wet muddy dirt roads, slick grass cow pasture with crossing irrigation ditches, torrential rain, etc…

ETA: was going to go with the falkens but they are heavier than I wanted, and I don’t have a level or lift kit, so wanted to stay stock size, and I couldn’t really find any reviews or feedback on the tire in that size, however I have friends with them on their trucks and they love them.

Consumer Reports loves these.

I have Yokohama Geolanders, I like them but they are kind of noisy unless you have your radio cranked up

Falken Wildpeak AT3W is what I'm running, they are great. I would look into the new Wildpeak AT4W, Wildpeak R/T, and new BFG KO3 also.
