I've used one on a ford before. It's badass for hooking up trailers for sure. It's just not something I feel like I need and I don't want to pay for it.

Things I have to have on any new truck from now on:

1. Keypad entry on the door. Love being able to toss my keys in my truck and not have to carry them to the deer stand.

2. Backup camera. People seem to fixate on it being about simply hooking up trailers. They save you from hitting so many things that you can't see over the tailgate and are awesome for getting turned around in the woods.

3. Cooled seats. Those are legit in the summertime.

What's wrong with lever action rifles?

Yes they are. Another thing I never thought I would use in Louisiana is my remote start. I always associated that with cold weather. But it's nice to be able to remote start my truck and let it cool off for a few minutes when it's 100+ degrees outside.

Mrs. Tigerdeacon's suburban has that. Never thought we would use it either, but it gets used all the time during the summer. Even just walking out of the store we will start it up so at least the AC is blowing when we put Tigerdeacon Jr. in his seat.

I don't find it helps much in summer. The small rear windows on my ext cab coming down help get the hot air out. I just use it in winter.

She likes it...so I don't go to the trouble of turning it off, cause I'd be turning it back on, instead I just gripe about it!

heated seats are awesome, but cooled seats will change your life in July and August.

My truck only had the option for heated seats when I got it. I was bummed but I need the rated seats more here in PA.

Still never experienced that. Is it like a bidet?

Cooled seats are the devil, almost uncomfortable to ride without em once you've had it awhile.

Kinda. Instead of water, you get a nice cool breeze up your butt.

True, but electronics reliability is getting damned good.

Not necessarily - aftermarket kits have display built into rear view mirror.

There is zero reason to not get it if offered, it is cheap, and in the 3-4 year life of your vehicle it will save you from backing into a Mexican housekeeper parked perpendicular to your driveway AR least once.
