By all means, if I get on here bragging about how great tampons are... give me shite about it.

I think you just jumped the gun a little early about how great a stupid back up camera is, and now regret showing your hand. As they say in the poker world... "call".
Dont quit your daytime job, you're a shitty mind reader.
I'll reiterate, back up cameras are great for daily driving, especially in the city. They suck for towing because the proximity (distance) sensors go crazy. Same with the tailgate down. It helps hooking up to a trailer but are useless for backing one up.
Sorry for showing my hand, what else you wanna see?

but I dont need a camera on my bumper....if you slap one on there...I will take it, but I aint asking for it.
For sure. Ice cream, I'm just giving you shite. Here's the way I see it...
Do I know where my trailer hitch is located on my truck? Yes.
Do I know how long the tounge on the trailer is? Yes.
Do I understand that instead of denting my bumper or tailgate that I could just grab the trailer and move it anywhere from 3 inches to 3 feet to attach? Yes.
Therein lies the problem... to many people try to put the hitch right over the ball. Why? Get close, go back there and put the trailer on the ball. Problem solved.
Why do we need a camera for 100% accuracy? It's like carpet and countless other bills of goods the American public has been duped into thinking they need and can't live without. Free your mind... and the rest will follow.

well me and chicken are complete opposites then..
I dont want any nudes of a fellow OB'er "real" girl...I just want some sultry shots of some gal that an OB'er claims to be his gal. Think about it....a claim is probably much better than the actual around here!

Busy looking for the trailer. I know it's back there, somewhere.

I take backing up to a trailer personally.
Like the other day...
I take a buddy with me fishing and as I'm backing up to the boat he's doing the whole left, right hand gesture thing. I'm not even really paying attention other than to make sure I don't run over him. As I close in he starts doing the hands 3 feet apart and slowly closing them to represent the distance from the trailer. When his hands get about 6 inches apart I throw it in park and hop out. He starts saying, "Hey man. You didn't come far enough back..." Like the boat weighs 30 tons...
I grab the boat trailer and pull it forward to the hitch. What is the big misconception? It's not a 35 ft. offshore rig on a tandem or triple axle trailer... its a fricking bass boat.

It's 38' but I'll forgive you.

I use to back up plow, in front of a viber-shank, soy bean drill when I was in high school working on the family farm. When you can back up a triple hitch...the rest is simple! I do like a back up camera though....like I said though it shouldnt be a necessity amongst men...nor should it be anything that a man pays extra for just to get put on his unit.
Night fellas!

Very true. A heavy implement makes a trailer seem laughable.

They are completely awesome for hooking up a trailer and parallel parking. Mine has a line that goes down the center of the truck and I can line up a trailer easily with that

Any man who can install their own tow package doesn't need a back up camera, IMO.

Truck had it when I got it. I can back up to any trailer perfectly fine, but it is just flat out better. Sure it's easy to move a little trailer on concrete. Try moving a heavy one in the dirt.
My truck is also long as the frick and I have to put it inches from the car behind me when I back up. I can get to within a half an inch of the car behind me.
I backed up to trailers for years without them, but it is just 100x easier with it. Mine is covered in dirt and dust most of the time so I can't use it anyway. Just use the license plate in those situations
