My SIL, FIL, ex-wife and uncle have all had skin cancer...yes, I wear it b/c of cancer. I also wear a shirt to swim in, as do my younger 2 kids who are fail complected like my wife.

After seeing the surgery to get rid of skin cancer - I'd prefer to look like a dumbarse and wear the shirt.

Maybe people wear them because there lightweight and comfortable.
I wear them all the same time cutting grass and working in the yard. It’s my go to outdoors shirt in the summer fishing or not.

Why does every yahoo feel the need to wear a fishing shirt now days, to go fishing ?

Better question is... Why does a grown man care about what another man is wearing...?

I wear long sleeve drifit mowing the lawn, working on food plots, fishing. Basically, anything outdoors.
Plus, untucked Columbia shirts are great concealed carry shirts

Who freaking cares? They’re comfortable and serve a purpose. I rock them bad boys to the office, to the grocery store and to other assorted social engagements.

I wear the button fishing shirts with the back flaps quite often. Light weight and comfortable. Plus I did some dumb shite in high school and the pockets help hide the man boobs I've acquired since.

Fishing shirts make kickass hiking shirts.

That what I use. Super quick dry. Keeps mosquitoes off.

The cheap Magellan’s work great for me.

When I was a kid I always thought my old man was crazy for wearing long sleeve button down shirts in the summer. He used to tell me they were cooler and kept the sun from beating in his arms.

I figured out he was right when I was in my 20’s working out in the middle of cleared land with no cover in sight drilling caissons.

Plus skin cancer is not as cool as your tanned arms.

Id rather sweat than burn. Have you ever spent 6hrs in the LA marsh? Youre an idiot to not wear protective clothing.
