Absolutely incredible shooting by the Good Samaritan in the mall shooting. 15 seconds after the shooting started, from 40 yards away, he puts 8/10 shots into the bad guy

Figured I would bring this here. How to we feel about that report? 8/10 from 40 yards away with a handgun during an active shooting situation with a moving target. I mean shite that seems pretty hard to believe right? Figured there was guys in here who practice shoot way more than me than can chime in. I for one have not even once shot at a target that far out with my lower caliber handguns

Is it even possible? I mean I guess anything is possible, but shite man this is something that if I saw in a movie I would laugh my arse off at. Almost half a football field and he just drills a guy with a Glock repeatedly

I'm a decent pistol shot and I know I can't do that unless something miraculous happened. Great shooting.

All I have seen is it was a Glock. I would assume a 9mm

I’m not saying it could not happen but that guy must shoot a lot to hit 4/5 of his shots at 40 yards. It would be difficult for most people standing upright with an AR.

Just read the edited release from the sheriff. Yep! Only 15 SECONDS!

Also. I'm not sure if yall knew this but he was exercising Constitutional Carry which had just been enacted into law in Indiana on July 1, two-ish weeks ago!

Had this law not been passed, a lot more lives may have been lost.

I've hit steel at 100 with a 9mm handgun. It took a few to find the elevation though.

Thats amazing. 8/10 at 5 feet on a 2 way range is impressive. 8/10 at 40 yards on a 1 way range and all day to do it is pretty damn good.

That's super impressive to me, I might be the worlds least accurate shooter with a handgun at distance.

That's some good shooting. 40 yards would be tuff. He'll 20 feet is tuff. Plus didn't the guy go down after he hit him the first 3 shots. Good for this guy.

I’ve read some write-ups on him, and he sounds like a straight shooter.

This needs to be law in La. I know it’s been up for vote the past two years. I am not sure how far it made it this year. I believe the governor vetoed it last year.
