I've tried a lot of them. The Engel HD coolers are fantastic in my experience.

Yeti Roadie M20. Bought one recently. Very impressed with design and quality. Buy once, cry once.
Love this cooler. Also have the Hopper 30 but use the M20 backpack a lot more.

I prefer the M15 tote but both are the best option. The M15 has been on sale for a while now (200 down from 300)

My bison doesn’t sweat, but I usually use that one to bring drinks to someone’s house. The ice mule is a perfect one for things like jazz fest. It sweats a little, but not too bad.

Titan makes a backpack cooler that's really nice and cheap. It's on sale for $42 at Costco right now

RTIC ones are crap. I had a gen 1 RTIC for years that I used until the seams unwelded. Bough a new one and the zipper separated (not split) exactly one week after the warranty was up. Wife had a bigger one that did the exact same thing.
I was gifted a Yeti Hopper 12 and it’s pretty great. It’s my go to boat cooler and it’s small so it doesn’t take up much space.

I have an early yeti soft side that seems to work pretty good. I won it in a contest a few years back.

Does anyone use zipper grease/lube on zippers like this on tackle boxes/coolers/blinds, etc?

I use the lube, it helps.
Ended up with a hopper 18. Wife picked it up while she was out so I said thank you. The padded shoulder strap is comfy and the zipper is much more robust. Hoping it outlives the last one.

You got to. Keep. Up on the lube.

Yes, the lubricant for zippers helps. My older soft side came with it when purchased. I now just use the vaseline chapstick from Dollar Tree. Works great. $1.25.

I just sent a Yeti M20 backpack to warranty due to a failed magnetic strip. Do i order another with the expectation that i only get 1-2 years out of it? Of order a different type of Yeti soft cooler? This is covered by warranty.

I have used and abused a couple of Yukon soft coolers for years. They are worth the money. You have to lube the zippers every once in awhile. Other than that they are zero maintenance.

I think I’d really like that latch given the zipper on mine just shite the bed.
Sewed it back together with fishing line. Their zippered one's not very good but it'll get frozen food back home from the store.

I had a yeti given to me. The first version with the top zipper. I'm now on my 3rd. We are talking 12+yrs. Still have not paid for one.. The warranty is un real.
