BowTech Realm SS and SR6

Hoyt RX-3 and Helix

Prime Logic: CT 3, CT 5, CT 9

Obsession has several of which are listed at ridiculous IBOs. The Lawless is listed at 370 IBO and early tests show them hitting those numbers for once.

Anyone had a chance to try any of them out? The BowTechs look super nice. And I'm really intrigued by the Prime offerings, but they just don't have nearly as many dealers around here. Closest one to me is 2 hours away.

Love the Primes in theory, but the reviews are seldom great.

Lawd.

I rarely drag my compound out anymore, but I see that when I do, it's just about as out of date as my longbow.

I shot the Elite Ritual 30 the day they announced it. Unless the new Mathews Vertix feels better, I’ll probably pick up the Elite for next year.

From what I've read/seen, they Prime "ping" has been all but eliminated with the latest models.

I joined team Elite this year. Bought a NIB Synergy. Love it. Eager to see their line the next few years.

Going to be hard for me to dump my Triax, but am interested in seeing the Vertix.

I'm really interested in shooting the PSE Evoke 31. Those evolve cams are real smooth and 90% let off is awesome.

Same here, it is so much nicer than my old bear it isn't funny. Dead in the hand, super quiet and plenty fast enough. I went with a 60# because of my bad shoulder and still faster than the old 70 I was pulling.

November 13. I am one of the few that didn’t 100% love the Triax. It just felt a little funny in my hand at the draw. The bottom kind of kicked out on me. Loved how it shot and held, but I just didn’t love the hand feel in the draw cycle. It’s easily the most dead in the hand bow I’ve ever shot. Ended up with a heavily discounted NIB Elite Impulse 31. I love it.

I wasnt happy with my Halon 32. Someone talked me into getting the 32 and should have kept my Halon. If I would have done that I would never got the Triax. When I sold my Halon 32 I went to the shop to shoot a Halon 7 but ended up leaving with the Triax.

I love the Traix and will be hard pressed to get rid of it.

Love my Halon so much. I get lots of comments on it when it's shot, even at only 27" draw.

My Mathews MQ1 setup (circa 2000) shoots at a rip roaring 250-260 FPS. Last time I shot something was in 2008. Killed the doe.

Unreal that speeds have gone up that much. Do you pretty much have to shoot mechanicals at those high speeds?

Try the Obsession if you all get a chance. Don’t know about this new speedster, but 6 and 7” brace height bows are super smooth.

Not at all. It allows you to shoot a heavier arrow therefore delivering more kinetic energy upon impact.
