I'm not salty at all, I think it's a step in the right direction this is getting caught. This is tax payer money that should have been spent on wildlife or coastal restoration projects, not toys. Your boy never actually said anything. Gaetti was the closest to just saying it, but neither knew what was actually going on.

quote:

Gaetti: All I know is that there was a huge shakeup and audits/investegations are happening.

Barf: Pretty much. Outside of that there really isn't anything to tell. I guess we could speculate? My guess would be some people on the counsel got greased.

To be fair, dropping shite like that on the internet after someone told you in confidence would be dumb on my part, but whatever. The council thing was something separate. Either way I thought the trailer park boys meme was funny. Carry on.

Open up this can of worms with BP money and a whole lot of folks will be under investigation, across all party lines, agencies, occupations, etc, etc. This shite runs deep.

This!

Baws better be hiding them power poles!

They need to take a look at Nungessers spending after BP then get back to us. I will say it again, if they can prove Paussina is guilty then frick him. Prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law, but they better pursue every other state worker that did the same thing with the BP money. People in glass houses and all that shite.

How about all state agencies get audited. No more traveling to vegas on a weekend for a conference that starts on Monday.

There is also one parked at the facility on Grand Isle with 4x300 hp. Just sitting there for as long as I can remember, never seen it move.

One of the agents responsible for the one in Venice said they hate driving those boats. Supposedly maneuvering that bad boy to board and inspect other boats when they have any kind of chop was miserable with 4 throttles to control.

What doesn't add up to me is those are enforcement boats and the article says they have an issue with the fisheries division. I am guessing it has something to do with the Freeman someone else posted. I always wondered how the guys who got the sweet gig staying in a houseboat in Venice getting paid to sport fish every day landed that job. Maybe they didn't properly advertise the job and gave it to a couple buddies? I don't know, but there better be more shite than that because plenty of people got "jobs" they had no business getting in the aftermath of the BP shitshow.

That's bullshite and I am fine with putting a stop to it no matter who is doing it. What agency is getting accused of that? I am sure a lot of agencies pull shite like that and they need to all be purged from the tit.

Yeah the deal with Newman going from selling blue runner beans to full time job catching fish for state in a new Freeman with top of the line gear looked a little thin.

Exactly, that has been my point from the beginning they all pull this shite and they are all guilty. I think it's clear Paussina is getting scape goated hard for the way he stood up to the fed's on the snapper issue.

Louisiana is guaranteed 5 billion dollars from the BP settlement, the original article you posted in the other thread said the amount in questions was less than 1 million. That is peanuts in the grand scheme of things. If they came in and rooted out this corruption from the beginning rather than use it as obvious political manuevering I would have no problems with it. Melancon is a slimy snake who has already gone back on his word to continue the push for regional management of ARS.

Two agents rolled up on us last week while we were fishing around Cocodrie. Nice guys. Just asked if we were using cracked crab on bottom because we were on a good spot. The boat they were in was about 28ft with a catamaran style hull and 3 250's on it I think? Big fine arse bitch.
