Last summer me and my Dad had all of our rods and reels stolen out of the bed of the truck one morning while we were getting our breakfast sandwich.

Since then I have replaced my spinning reel, but am looking to get another rod and reel. What should I get?

Best reel i have ever owned/used. I have one that is around 15 yrs old and still going strong. Well worth the high price tag.

Shimano makes incredible rod and reels. I fish over 100 days a year and have tried several bands. Quantum is the worst and shimano has been the best. Fin-nor also makes some incredible reels.

I have always been a Shimano man, but recently a customer took me fishing in a small private pond and he had brand new Lew's tournament pro reels. They casted incredibly well, even into the wind with ease. It was so damn smooth I was shocked. This one: LINK will be the next reel that I buy.

I'm more of a 200 kind of guy. We have a couple 400's though.

200 is definitely a better all around, but the 400 has the drag to pull the biggest fish you can land.

Yep, my family switched about 10 years ago and haven't looked back. Not a single maintenance issue on any of them.
