I have 3 or 4 friends that are vegan but absolutely understand why I like to hunt/fish/cook. The person who told you this is stupid.

I know plenty of vegans who don't mind hunting and fishing, although they wouldn't do it themselves.

I must not get out of my comfort zone because I don’t know a single vegan.
Hell I don’t know but one vegetarian and it’s my sister in law.

My wife came from a family that did not hunt, fish, or garden. This year she planted vegetables for her first time and is beginning to understand why it is so rewarding to eat something you harvested.
Last weekend her little brother who is a sophomore in high school saw our garden and was struck with the idea of wanting to eat a meal made up of nothing but things he harvested himself. Very happy they are taking my influence

Ehh, I have plenty of friends not into this stuff. I have gay friends, vegan and vegetarian friends, and anti-gun leftist friends. I can still be friends with them as long as they are open-minded. Doesn't bother me one bit if someone is the polar opposite of me so long as they are tolerant of my choices.

I know a vegan/vegetarian who will eat the wild game I give him. He mainly does it because he does not like factory farming. He has his own chickens and eats eggs since they lay them any way. He would probably hunt if he had the chance.

I work with quite a few vegetarians. None seem to have any ill will towards what I do/eat and are often curious about it.

Always laughable coming from someone who is going against what human nature has been for thousands of years. Even with the introduction of agriculture, hunting and fishing have always been important aspects of society.
