You can always go aftermarket. I put a warn HD Ascent bumper on my Silverado 2500.

Take the bumper off, smash that bastard back flat, and put it back on. Rolled my F250 like that for several years.

That tundra is liable to outlive you if you quit crashing it into shite.

As a 2019 owner I nervously opened this thread thinking I was gonna read about several serious drivetrain or electronic issues happening as the truck ages.

Instead I just need to not drive like a dumbass. Thanks OP, made my day.

A deer ran into the side of my humvee when I was in the army. Hit the front corner and bent the shite out of a very strong steel guard in the front.

Short between the driver seat and the wheel. Correct that and you have no problems.

I like when people bring up something about those big old cars destroying a newer car. Not exactly, bro.

Ok so we established that I'm the D.A. in this situation and am the source of the problem.
Looking at replacement bumpers. Thinking about going aftermarket. Looks like I can get a decent no frills bumper for around 300-500 bucks.
Any advantages or disadvantages to going aftermarket vs factory replacement?
I have the blackout package so a black steel one wouldn't be an issue as far as looks.

Will handle low speed impacts better than the factory one

You're getting your butt handed to you in this thread and you should be. Seems like once you wrote the OP you could've realized when proofreading how asinine you sounded and aborted.

Same here! I have 100k miles on my 2016 and was worried. Turns out OP is just the only person who doesn’t understand that modern vehicles are designed to crumple.

And I think it's fair to say most of us have had a post or a thread where we look back and go.... "boy that was dumb".
maybe this is that thread for me

I feel like this post is here just to get more posts.

You have beat the hell out of your truck. Trees don't give. Vehicle doors do.

Idk much about teh bumper thing, guess we'll have to take your word for it. The deer thing is also not exactly fully explained. We can't see the damage and we don't know how big the deer was.

No trucks take the kinda beating you're so talented at giving.
